Drifters was fun. Butch Cassidy, Sundance Kid and some crazy Japanese pilot shooting up dragons with his Zero. Ace!

I liked how Hannibal was super hyped about the gatling gun

Great characters so far, Scipio and Hannibal in particular are great together, if they're not fighting, they're making bad ass boasts. Though Butch and Sundance are also awesome, though I do hope they keep on getting bullets, because having a pair of bad ass outlaws who rely on guns not being able to shoot would be lame.

This show, despite very lacking in the character design (I mean, the artist really needs to work on new character designs! ), is going to be so awesome. I can't wait for the Sacred Band of Thebes to show up.

I want General Patton to show up in a tank. And for Rommel to be on his side

They're both not Japanese enough! We'll have to make do with Kanno Naoshi, who is already hard to top, talking like some sort of Bōsōzoku.

I am a Historian, which mandates that Drifters be my favorite series of the season but I already knew that was gonna happen XD

Great to see another Kouta Hirano work in animated form. I don't know why, but what the guy puts out just lends itself so well to the screen.

3rd ep delivers in spades, tho, with its mixture of fist of the north star, DBZ, fury road and wailing electric guitars. And then it gets crazy for real with the miniature sorceress bathing in a fountain of bondage lesbians. Hopefully this show will go 100% ape.

Flip Flappers really is all over the place. The only consistent tone is strangeness, it's wonderful.

Flip Flappers is the show I most look forward to each week this season.

I'm still getting used to that.

Although now that Funi's dubs are coming out, I'm liking Izetta and 91 Days (which I knew I would. Master's in History and all that.)

now if only Drifters and Kiss Him, Not Me would dub (I don't have anything against subs, but since dubs are coming out I'd rather not watch the show in both. Although I did that with Snow White with Red Hair. And Girls und Panzer.)

Speaking of Girls und Panzer, seriously considering going to the movie release. Just need the money and someone to go with so it won't be weird.

Well, the good news is Flip Flappers didn't make me cry this week.

No Drifters yesterday, however.. fourth part of Gundam the Origin popped up. Awww yiss.

Bungou Stray Dogs -
That scene with Q and Lovecraft was hilarious. When I saw Lovecraft and Q together, I knew what was going to happen

Don't know about the rest of you, being past the halfway point of the current, getting pretty frustrated with the pacing on a lot of the shows this season. One show that comes to mind is Bloodivores. Also Izetta is either going to come to a very frantic (and possibly sloppy) end or this has definitely been written with a 24 episodes in mind given the plot developments and the new character introduced in the last episode. Still one of my favorite shows this season.

Just to run down my current watch list (not presented in any particular order);

Sound! Euphonium - enthusiasm for this show as waned. Did it peek to early?
Bloddivores - see comments above. Really hoping this show moves towards something
Bungo Stray Dogs - Other than the power creep that just seems to be inevitable with this show and of course the you knew it was going to happen plot development with the Port Mafia and the Agency, still enjoying this show and its creativity in how the various powers work and interact. Have done a really good job of keeping you interested and wanting more of each character.
Izetta: The Last Witch - probably my favorite of the season so far. Love the setting, the animation style, but really concerned about the pacing and how they are going to finish off the last 4 shows of the season
Magical Girl Raising Project - a bit of a guilty pleasure, Pon. Kind of like how they have taken typical magical girl and turned into this dark kill or be killed story
Brave Witches - meh....watch it when I don't have anything else to watch
Drifters - hmmmm overtones of Hellsing are everywhere and being familar with the manga, kind know where this is going so struggling with the show at the moment.
All Out! - somewhat meh, but kind of want to see where this goes
March comes in like a lion - another one of my favs of the season and easily the top slice of life show of the season. Love the animation style and the character designs.
ClassicaLoid - not sure why I am watching this. I keep expecting something to happen, but it doesn't.
Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans - Anyone else rooting for McGillis? Seriously, some of the best story writing in a Gundam show in quite sometime iMHO, but it seems to be missing something that I can't put my finger on yet......

Anything standing out for any of you this season or are you already looking forward to next season?

My current watch list has been trimmed down to..

Hibike! Euphonium S2 - I love this show, not sure why, but it's pleasant.
Drifters - May drop it as I've gone and read the manga instead, which I've found.. okay so far.
Long Riders! - I'm not a cyclist, but I still enjoy this one a lot.
WWW.Working!! - One of my two personal favourites of this season.
Shuumatsu no Izetta - Ehhhhhh, not sure if I'm going to hold onto this one.
3-gatsu no Lion - My other personal favourite for this season!
Tiger Mask W - May drop this one as well, the main character is a bit too much of a Larry Stu.
Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari - Another slice of life show that I'm really enjoying.

Mobile Suit Gundam – Iron-Blooded Orphans - I'm saving this one up for when I'm bored, so I can binge watch it all in one go.

I find myself more and more drawn towards slice of life shows, WTF?

...I'd say more like Power Rangers, but the two genres overlap so much it doesn't matter.

Finally started Flip Flappers since most of my other shows had the week off for the holidays. Five episodes in and it's certainly an odd one but a good one so far. Probably better than most of the other stuff I've been watching this season.

Decided to run through Barakamon while I had the time.

Part of me wants to take the lessons about talent and all that to heart, but I'm just too past that part of my life to care anymore.

Regardless, a fun little story about getting over life's problems and enjoying some time in the country.

Now I need another cutesy slice of life show to watch... maybe I can find one I haven't rewatched at least twice.

So the current season is winding down. Any finale's anyone is looking forward to or maybe dreading?

For me I am dreading a bit the end of Bungo Stray Dogs. Some of the story writing seem's to have gotten lazy the last couple of episodes and they seem to be mailing it in a bit.

I am not sure what plot device will be used to wrap up "March comes in like a Lion".

And what I was afraid would happen to Izetta did, and the plot has had to move along at light speed to bring it to final(?) conflict. Still love the animation and setting.

I have given up for now on the other shows I was watching and will binge them when I have nothing better to do.

I am excited for the endings of Jojo's Part 4, Keijo!!!!!!!!, and Yuri on Ice. It's been kind of a quiet anime season for me. Been feeling sort of burnt out, so I've been watching random shows on Netflix instead of anime.

Next season is looking to be a whole lot of gak, oh woe.

Well Little Witch Academia is getting a full show, and Interviews with Demi-Humans is getting an adaptation (the manga is quite good, very cute), so I'll definitely be watching those. As is Miss Kobayashi Dragon Maid, which is by the same guy who wrote the I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying manga. Other than that nothing has really caught my eye.

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu was very good, and the second season hopefully builds upon the first.

Yowamushi Pedal third season will probably be okay. The series isn't spectacular, but I miss that god awful singing they do.

More Iron Blooded Orphans and Little Witch is always good. I'll probably pick something else up that might pique my interests.

Or take a break and burn through some of my physical discs/more gundam shows I haven't seen.

The two previous showings of Little Witch have been quite good so my hopes for that one are high. For Exorcist, are they doing another season or what's the deal there?

The orginal anime deviated wildly from the manga, so this might be an FMA:B-esque thing.
