Pretty much any piece of fluff mentions them not being case-less, afaik.
Black Library fluff, sure. But every single tech spec and diagram for bolters specifically calls bolt shells case-less.
However, that seems to be a relic of by gone days, as even GW's scenic bases and base elements include shells that are designed to really only be able to have come from 2 weapon styles: Bolters and Shootas.

Well, at least you get a cool trailer for your money Looks like they got the feel right, I'm interested to see the gameplay.

Probably, but there's no reason it has to be. The Unreal Engine is certainly capable of gorgeous visuals, and let's face it, Space Hulk is about as complex as Doom in terms of setting and AI requirements. FPS in dark creepy corridors is a pretty well established genre.

I think it was a brilliant choice that really puts a different spin on the Space Marine concept. The music is at odds with the traditional image of gothic, grimdark epicness, which is why it works so well. Such a simple thing as a bold choice of music manages to make the Marines appear more human and show another side of the 40k universe, which is much more interesting to me than piling on the church organs and latin choirs like we see in every other trailer of this type. I must've watched it at least 10 times at this point, and it only gets better.
I respectfully disagree.
The music was corndog in my opinion. It was as if someone tacked it on in a panic and didn't even know what the whole song eventually morphed into. Much as someone hearing so9mething for the first time, liking the first part, but not listening to the whole song all the way through. It detracted from the total image of the trailer, and makes this game into just another gangster shoot them up grand theft auto stuff...
Might as well of used Die Antwood. At least it would have been a good sedgeway into the groups new robot movie, CHAPPIE.

I liked the music. It had a cinematic quality that led me to hope there might be more depth to the plot/characters than is typical for 40k licensed games. Probably won't come to anything, though.

All I can say is "Meh". Not impressed. This shows me nothing. It's another pretty or beautiful trailer but going to end in disappointment since the trailer is not actual game play.
It's going to be another 2am drunk at a dark bar and picking up a girl finding out the next morning she looks nothing like how you saw her the first time.
So again, Meh, not impressed.
Also the Genestealers look so freaking stupid with the tongue hanging out. Looks so out of place.

There were lots of biomorphs for Genestealers in the older codexes. We also had Genestealer hybrids from back in second edition. It is hardly a stretch.
Although i am sure i saw a Hormagaunt in there at one point.

Eh, I liked the music choice. Metal/Orchestral/Chanting get's boring after a while. This was new and different.
However I will agree that, lyrically, the song was a bad choice. Instrumentally it worked (for me).
The whole 'Last Stand' moment at the end worked perfectly for my tastes and I have to say this is one of the few trailers I have willing rewatched (several times, now) for a video game in ages... not just for a 40K game.

Space Hulk: Ascension has a whole bunch of different 'stealer types (scything talon, acid maw, feeder tedril, flesh hook and so on), they'll probably do something similar here.
What's the weapon that's firing several shots of blue energy back to back at 0:41, and on the far left at 1:34? It's definitely not a plasma cannon, as that's shown later and firing green, but it does look like it has the plasma coil. The assault cannon, plasma cannon, and heavy flamer all make an appearance as well as whatever weapon that might be.

I'm 99% certain that it's a second Plasma Cannon, with them firing different colours in order to differentiate between the two terminators wielding them?

I wondered that myself. At first I thought a grav cannon or something. The thing is though, it's bang on for a plasma cannon.
-It's got the blue glowy heat sink/magnetic coils/whatever the feth they're supposed to be.
-It's got the Hydrogen fuel flasks
-It's got the wires and cables going every which-a-way.
-It's got the same barrel shrouding
-It even matches up with the plasma cannon that comes with the DW kit.
The only thing that doesn't entirely match up (but we can easily put this down to artistic licence) is the weird protruding barrel, which plasma cannons don't have.
The same goes for the green cannon. It's almost identical to the blue one, except that it's green and doesn't have the odd barrel. I took some screenies to compare.
I'm guessing though, we'll find out when we play the game.
What is more pressing to me, however, is the strange symbol on the Librarians belt. It's not one I recognise.
You can zoom in on the picture in the gallery. (Same with the above pictures too)

Developer already released a game. It's called EYE Divine Cybermancy. I've played it. Streum is a very small French indie studio.
I can tell that they were selected due to their love of excessively ornate armors. Cybermancy was a very obscure FPS with a complicated progression system and cryptic dialogue. It was rated well amongst old gamers hungry for some Deus Ex archaic FPS-RPG hybrid, but generally noted for a variety of flaws of the low budget variety. Looking at these trailers, Streum has been gifted with a huge budget and they have risen to the occasion. At least they have impressive modelers, but yes, I have some doubts that this game will even be playable. Suffice to say I think that Streum has talent and is a small, albeit extremely obscure developer worthy of supporting, especially in the event that this turns out to be playable.
EYE has been known to go on sale for 2 dollars on Steam in case anyone's curious.

Totally digging the cool music in the first trailer BrookM posted. It was wicked dope. Anyone know if this is a COD style of shooter or something a little more tactical... I think it would be dope if it was like Republic Commando or something. Or maybe like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

I didn't realise it was the same developer. I love E.Y.E (got it for a singular dollar on steam a while back). I am now expecting even better things for this game.
