Well, the main reason being the late-as-of-yet-in-peoples'-hands miniatures, But also some of the other concerns noted in this and the other thread about models changing post KS and post pledge manager, poor communication, and RH's questionable financial situation. This doesn't bring up other things like the odd proportions or production issues that some people claim (like poorly cast 'fabric').

Just to be clear, because it feels like this may turn into a situation where that's required, I was joking in my previous post. And explaining the joke, as I'm doing in this one, only enhances the punch line, right?

Looking at the individual figure pricing on their KS page versus the pricing on their webstore it looks like about $5 saving per fig. That seem right to y'all?

About that for the heroes. Not sure on combo packs like the Lulus.

Yeah, over all the KS was good /value/. Just slow as all hell spawn.

I'm one of the top 10 backers for the first TGG kickstarter.
I don't see why people are complaining about not getting miniatures yet, if you haven't received any it's because you chose to have them all sent at the same time.
They can't send your package before all the miniatures are produced and if you think that's bad you are quite deluded.

I chose 3 wave shipping to a drop location, I've received wave 1 and 2, about 250 miniatures in total. Now waiting for the freebies wave and wave 3 with all the bikes, walkers and artillery.

They have been good with updates on the project (even though some people complain about no weekly updates).

I'm 100% confident in backing RH, I see no reason not to (if you are interested in their figures). They show you what you will be getting in art, they translate the art to a miniature VERY closely and they send you said miniature once that waves shipping is done. What more can you ask for?

I do have on complaint though, the pictures show all the special weapons by themselves but when you actually get the weapon it's attached to an arm. I'm sure there are some casting reasons behind it or whatever but I though all the weapons would be separate pieces so I could easily swap them with other stuff. Now I have to carve out the arm if I want to switch the TGG Fusion Gun for a GW Melta Gun.

I've only worked on 20 of my figures so far but I have seen very few problems. Some tiny bubbles (I mean like 0.5mm in size) here and there. Some bad mold lines or pieces on weapons that wasn't quite aligned correctly.

It's what I've come to expect from resin miniatures, there's nothing new about these problems and if you expect there to be none then you are quite deluded.

Heres the short time line of it all

-Awesome miniature campaign drops and we all pitch in.
-French company is french and seeing all the money there making put up ridiculous stretch goals.
-As with all Kickstartes funds stall out and seeing their SG are not going be reached French company just randomly changes entire campaign proving that everything was gonna be released anyway and that they are just greedy.
-Backers start to get annoyed.
-Design changes start to happen for no reason.
-Lies about how they are almoat (80%) done are thrown out,
-French company is snide to legitimate questions and concerns
-Backers start to be concerne
-Campaign ends....French h company stops talking to everyone . Any people on fb that point this out are immediately unfrienden or blocked
-Backers start to get aggravated
-Over the next 3 years sporadic updates, change to design and completely ignoring questions cause backers to grow into a bitter cesspool of accusations anger and internet mockery
-French company is French and ignores all this
-Less than half of the backers start to get their stuff....slowly.....very slowly
-NEW KS IS ANNOUNCED!!!!!! half the backers still have seen nothing
-Backers start new forum and heap derision on new campaign
-Free miniature is offers to disgruntled backers of original campaign in an attempt to rebuild good will......provided you give them 150 dollars first....Angy backers with no miniatures are angry
-French company is french and think they are super Generous
-You ask your question

But do you get enough "weapon arms" for the options?

So, squad of 5, 5 "normal weapons" with arms and then 1 of each special, with arm? So 5 torsos but 10 right hand (left hand) arms?

If the only issue if cutting to use GW weapons, that's absolutely fine by me.

Technically true, but "the same time" was March, 2014. Nobody signed up to have still not received their product a year past the claimed completion date.

I thought that the "-Design changes start to happen for no reason. " was due to backer demand....
I wanted in on the 1st campaing, but completely missed the deadline and payed a chunk like 2-3 days after the end on paypal.

So no updates, design changes, and any changes actually.... was just "well at least i got my pledge, going to stay quiet and wait for minis...".
"The *real* backers can decide for me about quality, design choices, rewards..."

I now realise i was probably listened to more than anyone lol, i remember they updated their blog after one of my comments, so i though that they were "listeners"...

don't get me wrong...they do make great stuff. And I expected it to be late..(not this late). However even with my nigh infinite patience and exceeding pleasantness have to admit...I'm a little annoyed at how long its taken.

I've only started working on my KST Heavy Command units. You get 5 Torsos, 6 legs (5 standing +1 sprinting). You get 5 Energy Rifles (lasguns) with right arm attached, you get 5 left arms and 5 heavy weapons with arms attached. Then you get 2 pistols with arms attached and 1 sword with arm attached.

When I say arm attached, this is what I mean:


This is what the picture shows, but you don't get this. You get all the weapons but they come with arms attached:

And yeah, i see what you mean, but cutting off the arms would be quite simple, they are thin.
Cutting the weapons out of the arm with arm intact is slightly trickier =P

Also, not unexpected. I suppose you *could* call their concepts misleading, but then that was part of the "i'll assume they come with arms because other minis do the same". If you've only ever worked with GW models i can definitely see where the anger/frustration might come from...

Was it really necessary to point out so many times that RH is a French company? I think we have seen disappointing kickstarters from all around...

Probably because he's an American and American's need to remind everybody where they're from, which is America, where Americans come from. In America.

So, does the KS page not come up until it's actually live? For some reason I thought you could normally see them beforehand.

The creators CAN show it beforehand, but Raging Heroes have super secret methods and stuff and thus there is NO WAY they'll spoil anything.
