Is there a scale for these miniatures? Either in a lineup, or an approximate height for a human figure?

Those are beautiful. Remy Tremblay is an absolutely cracking sculptor.

Although, when I see him doing these I wonder why he isn't finishing the sculpts for Conan! ~~

They're pretty much 32mm scale.

Seen here with Reaper and Hasslefree minis.

If they're 32mm scale does that mean they'll blend in decently with my Red Box and Mierce stuff? It would be really awesome if that was the case.

Red box might be on the smaller side details-wise, but I think some of the sculptors here did work for Mierce. Time will tell. I think Tre says most of his figures are sculpted with 32mm armatures.

I'd feel confident in these minis fitting in with most other ranges, including the upcoming Conan and Blood Rage minis.

All the Conan sculpts were done about a month ago. A couple like Thaug needed tweeking for casting purposes, but nothing major.

Does anyone know do the colored base pieces (white) grip around a standard GW 25mm round base? I'm actually thinking of using it for a completely different game system.

Here's hoping that one of the upcoming stretch goals is a set of plastic dungeon doors! Much as I'd love a few included as a free bonus, a large set as an optional buy(much like the doors in the S3 Kickstarter) would probably sell like hotcakes, as they could also be used by anyone running a tabletop rpg.

I'd like three more zombie dwarves as another stretch goal to bring them up to the correct number

Looks like tomorrow will break the 80k stretch-goal-a-day streak. Which is presumably exactly what they want; I'm sure it costs nowhere near 80k to fund one of these figures anyway.

Anyone on here have Cadwallon: City of Thieves by FFG/Dust Games? Look it up if you don't. A lot of the same crew worked on that game before they started GG (remnants of the old Rackham team) if I recall correctly. They have ties to DUST Games through Paolo who did art for the Rackham guys and helped them get the pre-painted plastics thing going for AT-43 and the Confrontation 3rd ed (which he still uses for Dust Tactics/Dust etc.) and he's the reason they hooked up with FFG to publish the box, board, cards, etc. They are basically using the same base extension idea...I can't be positive they will be exactly the same size, but chances are very high that they are re-using these base-extention molds they set up for the Cadwallon board game.

Notice the minis bases are exactly the same diameter as the Zombicide ones. Notice also, that the Cadwallon board game's minis are pretty badly warped (especially the bases)...they've improved the plastic substantially since then.

Finally, notice the GW 25mm round base does NOT fit inside the base extension to answer the question in the post above.

The extensions look like they are nearly exactly 25mm outer diameter themselves. Is that the case?

These ones are just a little bit wider in diameter than a GW base. and the inside diameter is just a tiny bit too small to fit the GW base inside.

Thanks Fango always a gentleman.

I'm actually looking to use them for Alkemy. I think their bases are the same as GW. I might have to rebase the minis I have painted up, but I think they might work out for what I want. Any idea if they sell these separately?

1. The city of cadwallon base covers are not the same size or material as the Arcadia quest ones.

2. The Arcadia quest ones will fit an unbeveled 25mm base. They very nearly fit an infinity 25mm (and would if you trimmed the slight bevel) and do not fit a GW 25mm, which has a much larger bevel.

I didn't back (or buy) Arcadia Quest...already had SDE and thought AQs Chibi aesthetics were a bit 'off.' Cant really explain it, I think the sculpts were technically good, the style just rubbed me the wrong way... Do the zombicide figures fit snugly into the AQ base covers nicely? Because these Cadwallon ones fit perfectly...

Thanks for the info!

So how does one paint a miniature that will be fit into a removable base? I've always though the base might scrape off the paint or something. Or do you not remove the base? TIA!

If the model has a single purpose then just paint the base the colour you need.

In this case if a white clip on base helps designate a npc zombie then painting the base white achieves the same thing

If you need to change colours then multiple layers of varnish woukd help

I think the colored removable base covers became a thing when they went with these plastic dashboards...the little plastic pips that track your skills, etc. are color coded to the base covers so it's easier to tell which model is yours when your turn comes up.

Has nothing to do with the plastic dashboards.

Has everything to do with the movement to a single color for the hero miniatures to maximize the detail achieved.

Ok, fair enough. You can't deny that they are color coded to match the the dashboard pegs though. A happy side effect maybe then.

That and they were probably trying to avoid the eye sore rainbow mess that the Zombicide Survivors have become. Something like 114 Survivors, all in different colors.

Can you move the red one?
No, the other slightly darker red one.

Now becomes

Can you move the hero with the Red base ring ?

I really do hope these figures are a bit bigger than 'standard' Zombicide figs - it would be a shame to lose ANY of that awesome detail!

I agree, the detail is excellent on some of these figures.

It's a shame that none will be available in resin.

CMON could really make a killing if they did a boutique resin website of the survivors. They might get a bunch of backlash from the KS backers who bought them as investments, but if they wait 5years from release or something like that and make the resins $20 each I think they could find a new cash cow. I know there's a few I'd love to get.

YES!!! I can't agree more. It is such ashame that these great sculpts are blurred down later in PVC...

Yes, I have painted my share too, see:

But when painting them you realise how much better the original sculpt was.
They could even make a seperate Pledge Level, "Survivors in Resin".
