I worked on my bike canoness some more, finished up most of the modelling and got a couple basecoat colors on. I had a mishap while I was working though...



...My paints had settled over the last few years and I got a bit overzealous trying to squeeze out the Gory Red. Whoops. Luckily, it missed my mini.

So here she is, with a bit of color that's in dire need of cleaning up and detailing. She's been performing really well in the league so far, and even got me enough votes to win the prize for coolest character mini in the league!

I'm in, I want to make a new truck for my guard to rip around with.

It looks like the mishap was someone interrupted you during painting so you murdered them.

I considered doing up a companion piece (a Skaven warlord looking for a nice Griffon steak ), but technically with the 4 Skaven on the base I've used up my 5-model allowance! Can't go breaking my own rules!

Though the aforementioned additional Skaven/Elves will likely show up in my blog soon enough, I'm happy enough with the one piece for my entry.

Quick and crummy wip shot of the Ravenwhinge. They are actually a lot better looking and further along than the shot seems to show!!! Hard part is done, now on to the funner bits lol

I am soooo tempted to make an attempt at getting this done... If I hadn't slipped with the drill just now and have to resculpt the exhaustpipes on one of the bikes... hmm...

Drill mishaps are just the Emperor’s way of getting you do work more on your battle damage and weathering.

Maby you are right, I am waiting for final curing of the putty then I will get back with a new drillbit and hopefully not mess it up again.

Some very impressive entries far beyond my skill but here is a quick update on my attempt (think you can guess want I'm going for now)

Pretty much finished! Just a little bit of tidying, highlighting and ols to do on the trans blade and je suis fini!

A bit late to the party, but I've started painting! Take a look at my Helbrute's face!

Finally got started! Was off to see the new Mad Max movie for inspiration, we'll see how that goes. As of now I'm starting the modifications ...

More WIP for the venom! Still a ways to go but pretty happy overall for a first vehicle for the army.
