To be fair with horror movies: Having a three year old might just make the terrifying experience more immersive, and some places would charge you extra for that kind of 4D experience!

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

He was alright, the script and directing was terrible though, and they should have gone for a better enemy than Parallax. Also I think Nathan Fillion should've been GL..
On topic: Have they cut the Weapon X programme from Deadpool's origin story this time?

Seems like it. The trailers show it to be at least 95% comic book accurate so far, including lesser known characters like Ajax and Blind Al. I expect if you liked the 90s Deadpool comics, you'll salivate over this movie. I've already requested the day off from work.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

They directly reference the Weapon X program in the trailer, they are staying very accurate to the original Deadpool run.

My reading comprehension failure. I thought he might have been discussing the Wolverine Origins one.
In regards to the comic one, yeah, that version is fully in, from all appearances. Again...at least 95% comic accurate. Maybe more.

Probably not going to happen/won't be a big deal if it does as this one is RATED R, so, yeah.
Don't worry they will still freak. I saw parents lose it in a Mad Max movie, and the Mist. Anyone see the unedited version of the Mist? Now imagine a 3 year old in it.
In contrast NO ONE WARNED ME that Tangled was a musical and that little girls would be dancing in the aisles, Oh the humanity!
My group of friends went to go see South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut in the theater. Next to us, someone brought a seven year old. Based on the parent's face, he had no idea what South Park was about...
Gonna dredge this back up from a couple months back, as the movie hits the screen just before Valentine's Day. I will be dressing up as good 'ol Wadey Wilson for my little foray to the theater. But first-a haiku!
Deadpool stabs bad guys
Bad guys bleed all over floor
Deadpool is hero

I will be waiting the 2 most painful days of my life because my GF thought it would make a great Valentine's Day movie and in no way could I come up with something to disagree with that.

Will there ever be a more perfect Valentine's Day?
Possibly the only thing that would make it better (for us) is if she has no idea what she's getting herself into, and has only seen those campy "rom-com" style posters that have been popping up around the internet.

Unfortunately she knows who Deadpool is and encourages my like for the character lol. She is currently trying to decide her Deadpool themed outfit haha.

Either Lady Deadpool if she's a blonde, Copycat if she has blue skin, Siren if she's a redhead, or Negasonic Teenage Warhead if she's an obnoxious punk girl with a shaved head.

Never read the comics and I thought the trailer looked really dumb. A jerk-hero constantly cracking jokes while shot in slow mo, meh. Didn't they already do as equally terrible movie with Will Smith in Hancock?

The only similarity between the characters is that they're both donkey-caves. Hancock was a lazy piece of gak who wanted to be left alone to get drunk and resented people asking him to actually be a hero. The latter part of movie was about him reforming. That's not Deadpool.

If you don't follow Deadpool much at all, you're probably looking at a film that's something like Kickass or Scott Pilgrim as some sort of very very distant comparison.
Maybe Ace Ventura or Austin Powers, but that's suuuper stretching it.
Ah stuff it, just watch this...

They called Deadpool a mutant in it at one point. What a bunch of jackasses.

Not at all; if they're gonna hype a guy up, they should know a little bit about him is all. In EVERY x-men comic where he runs into them, he pretends to be a mutant, and they yell at him that he isn't one.
Although Marvel Vs Series (LCG) also put him as an X-men leader. So what do I know?

His powers *are* mutant-derived, though. At the very least he's a mutate. And he spent most of his early stuff interacting with the X-Men. And he's close allies with Wolverine and Cable (mutants). And he was in an X-Men movie. It's not as egregious an error as you're trying to make out.
Honestly, I think the fact that they are doing stuff like this as part of their ad campaign is awesome... It's a bit of charity and using a person who can talk about anything on screen, to talk about "anything" on screen
