Did you end up stripping it back in the end? The paint is looking really nice so far.

This month I am going to do a Leman Russ, that has been sitting unpainted on a shelf for far too long. The tank commander is already attached, so I will leave it be despite the topic. In particular as I have a good conversion idea for Knight Commander Pask in mind.

I got my hands on Forge World's "Model Masterclass Volume One" a while back and part of the challenge will be to try out a bunch of weathering techniques from that tome that I didn't use before. That will be great fun!

I test primed a small area and it came out good, so I ended up just re priming the entire thing lol.

Great, that saved you a bit of a headache! Can't wait to see what you do with it for the challenge.

Work in progress pics. The skitarii need an 'off the sprue' touch up.

The deffcoptor rotor on the front will be some kind of big fething axe.

The barricade and the walls came from a pack of soldiers from a Pound shop. My absolutely favourite Pound shop bargain. Fits the big weapon too, though i may have lifted it too high with the soon to be cobbles floor.

I think a 41st millennium ball pool would be awesome! Possibly a little scary, probably be anti heretical slogans on all balls, or little eagles and lots of rivets.
Nice skitarii Amen, really like those figs and would love to justify another army, but have several half painted ones which really need some love first.

Halfway done with my Navigator Terminator. (Though to be honest, he's as tall as a Contemptor now...) Got the idea from Weirdingway, he told me to take a shot at anything from a Navigator household.

His stuff is here though, you've probably seen it already: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/584689.page It's a great read.

The leg is magnetized where it joins the chest, so he can be put on a chassis and run as a TFC. (That is the part that ain't done yet, along with some banner touch up and fixing the one cable that has a gap.) Along with him, a Techmarine. His base will be an ocean the techmarine will have the forest basing that my other army has. Sorry for picture spam, I hope this figure looks semi okay, he started out as Greenstuff and paperclips.

If you guys don't mind commenting on the GS, I'd love that as it's my first time using it.

So, I've made a replacement antenna for the Shihab out of GS... It's not perfect but it's good enough. A bit on the bendy side perhaps- I tried to stiffen it up with superglue with some success. I hope it won't become a problem.

Now I'm back to where (thought I) started!

I've spent the last few days salvaging this guy from a box of light myrmidons I was given. Once he's done, I'll try salvage the other two into usable form.

Hey guys

I'm going to submit an entry in the hope that it will push me to finish it but I'm not in the country much this month so theres a fair chance I won't finish it but its not a challenge if its easy right?

I got this chap in an ebay joblot of random bits, hes seen better days but I thought this month would give the machine a chance to "rise from the dead" so to speak. The plan is to chop the front off and add a fair few other bits. Theres a lot of gaps to fill and far to much glue everywhere ...

Proof shots.

Is it acceptable to enter without any WiP pics?
I have a set of WL/WG I'd love to enter but they are literally 20 years old and I have no way of proving a WiP pic from back then

I can offer this pic from 2011 however to obviously prove they are mine and are years old?

One of things you don't notice until it's put together is that I'll need to cobblestone around the base.

Also, one of the guy's feet is off the ground, which is a happy accident that gives a sense of movement.

The Four Skitarri who made to the final of 'Table's Got Talent'.

All the figures. Better start work on the Kataphron stand in (and the setting, and the finishing, and the whatever).

The Big Fething Axe takes shape. The handle is a brush protector.

You may have noticed I am not the neatest worker. Brush protectors are for the weak!
