With hair down he will look a lot like Konrad Curze

I am selling an original "Iron Warriors" painting by Karl Kopinski: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/121232313078?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

I like this model, but I agree that the hair is the weakest part. He looks really good though, and I like that they didn't try to bling him up too much, but let the pose and his personality do the talking.

I was hoping for more, but I've found that when you anticipate some things too much they don't generally live up to expectations.

I think it looks good enough overall though. I think, as happens often, that the 360 views/painted will improve it even more.

Oh and once again, GIVE HELMET OPTIONS!

Don't all the Primarchs have helmet/unhelmeted options?

None do as far as I know. Some of the special characters do though.

Well, the model has some nice details, but I'm not a fan of the pose.

You'd expect bigger turbines for a guy his size.

Their heads are harder than their helmets anyway, so they probably don't care.

I think those little jets are secondary, I'm picturing a big single thruster in the middle.

Was that a space marine head butting bullets reference? lol.

My favorite book was "Thousand Sons", when Ahriman contemplated how stupid fighting without a helmet was as he was head shotting Space Wolves lol.

Full suit of armor protecting the less important parts, no helmet. Man I love sci-fi writers.

Or it's something similar to the Alatus-Pattern Jump Pack.

MkIII I think, but I've heard it's hard to get a helmet to fit because of the gorget. Any mark will work really because his armour isn't standard but it has most in common with MkIII.

Looks like MK III to me, look at the back of the legs and the power generator(backpack).

hmmm, that sucks if a helmet doesn't fit well. It blows my mind that the model for an expert in void combat doesn't have a helmet.

"PULL MY FINGER"

Do you think the primarchs told their Marines dad jokes, or the Emperor to his primarchs?
Maybe that's why Angron is in such a bad mood

"Father Emperor, I am ANGRY"
"Hi Angry, I am the Emperor"
"I AM fething SERIOUS"
"Really, I thought you were Angry?"
"ARE YOU FOR REAL?!"
"No...I'm the Emperor, remember?"

And that is how Angron fell to chaos.

Of course I am going to be buying this model, I just really hope that the jump pack has a primary unit in back or something. Otherwise I am decently happy with corax, the whip would of broke too easy if it was uncurled and being used. Plus the lightning claw(s?) look pretty cool.

If you could buy that jump pack separately, along with that style of lightning claws?

I would be all over it for a Raven Guard Chapter Master with the Relic jump pack and claws from Kauyon.

Probably be a bit big for a normal marine.

I'm not really a fan. I don't dislike him but I certainly don't like him overall either. The size, posing, backpack, and especially hair don't appeal to me. Fulgrim and Vulkan IMO are still worse than him but he's definitely in the bottom half of Primarchs released so far for me.

I didn't like the Konrad model until I saw it painted, so maybe I need to see this one painted too.
