I am currently at the alpha stage of what will be this year project for my hobby, namely a full Stormcast Eternals army. I am happy that GW will release a painting guide for them this week so I am eager to begin to work with all the tools in hand.
The project is nothing short of all the SE units released. I wanted to playtest the army a little before I commit to the brush or new purchases and I have found it much to my liking.
The currently assembled units are the entire starter part, an unit of five Decimators and an unit of five Judicators. Hopefully they will be basecoated by next week so I can begin to work with the painting as per the official guide. I am yet undecided whether to go with Astral Templars or the Celestial Vindicators, both have a very bold livery and much like the Chaos player that I am, I do like bold colors.
We shall see.

I finished off rebasing 10 more of my Empire Swordsmen for Age of Sigmar, and this marks a milestone for me as I have now rebased everything painted in my Empire army :-)
Gonna try and take some army shots soon to post up the entire collection so far :-)

Damnit bottle stop being so damn talented.
As for me there's a campaign going on at my flgs 2 weeks time, 40 wound limit and a hero which is going to be made all d&d style.
Problem? I only have a Lord Celestant on Dracoth and 5 Liberators painted.
Wish me luck! Will post pics in an edit.

Good heavens your talent is remarkable, Bottles. The Empire swordsmen are my favorite Empire unit as well, so extra points for that.
One question, though. Where is that feather on the lead blond fellow coming from? Is it on his shield or is it on a helmet he is holding?

Thanks guys! These were actually painted a while ago (over a year ago) so it is just the rebasing that has finished recently.
I have another 40 infantry to try and do this year, and hopefully you'll see improvement with them!
@Baron Klatz the feather is pinned to the front of his chest plate, I have a few champion models with similar feathers in the pipeline. He looked a bit lacking without it, and the idea is a broach or pin would fasten the feather in place. :-)

Bottle, how did you go about rebasing? I'm considering doing the same to my Skaven but I'm not really sure how to.

Looks awesome Matt! Both the Doombull and the Dreadfort! Are you building your way up to one of the massive castles? (Like the big circular one)?

Hey, I used pliers to snip off all the old bases from the models, I sanded up some new bases and primed them, I then stuck the models on with superglue before filling in any gaps with liquid green stuff. A few of the models got a bit damaged around the feet, which is where tactical grass tufts come into play ;-)

@Bottle: gorgeous Swordsmen you got there, wish I had taken the time I do now on my painting as I did when I painted up my Empire.
I was debating what to do with my Empire army but since it's 99.999% safe now I feel a lot better and may now start adding to it again.

Ahh right. Cats can be douches! My mate's cat used to terrorise his gaming table relentlessly. Plucking the trees off and attacking the buildings lol.
