Armies on parade. Trying to get 1000 pts of my chaos dwarves done with the khorgorath. Realm of battle boards already done so its just a matter of knocking these guys out.

I like that color scheme. The touch of red really makes it work.

Thanks. I like how it came out too. The beards also provide some coloring (they will either be black or red randomly)

I got spoiled with plastic all these years. Super gluing resin models is the suck!

Managed to get a new army done this weekend (sort of!):

The Spiderfang Grots are coming!

A close up - not my best work by a long stretch, but I had approached these thinking the painting would suck - pleasantly surprised to find it easier than I thought

And the Boss:

Should have two Arachnaroks polished off very soon too!

Some updates for anyone who is blog-averse! Brass Stampede is taking shape and my Khorgoraths are shaping up.

Here is the guy with the normal banner.

So I gave one guy a back banner, instead of having three dudes all carrying the same standard. I have snowflake syndrome and it shows. Each of these is unique to one another.

The heads of the hornblowers are unhelmeted because how else can they blow the horns? Also, I used two of the way cooler Skullreaper heads because... snowflake.

And here is a pic of my two Khorgoraths. The one with just Tamiya putty needs some greenstuff work, but I love the skull heads from the Necrosphinx. The horns give them a more Khorne feel, imo.

Anyhow, thanks for looking. More updates throughout the week, I hope. Take a gander at my blog too, if you want to read up on my motives, musings, and all that.

Well, I finally got duped into starting sigmarines (after reading up on the fluff, I've decided it's largely doffy (like most AOS seems to be now ) BUT I do like parts of it, namely, as 1d4chan puts it: That they are Necron Space Marines, with emotion)

I like the Brass/Blue mix and the models, but I'm still hunting for C&C before I start on the bulk of the models.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

You are the first (and only) person I know who does!

And as a tiny update, I have been slowly converting my Blood Warriors from the AoS Starter to have twin axes. It has not been easy or fun, as I am rather bad at conversions and terrible with greenstuff.

I have 5 more Starter Blood Warriors, but I am holding off on assembling them until I get some Blood Warrior boxes so I can mix-and-match a bit easier to make them more unique.

I of course love the color scheme (my stormcast are stormhost silver with the same teal blue)! My big suggestion is find something else to replace the white. Not only is white a PAIN to paint, but it can be easily replaced with something more interesting. Try a bright silver or a gold on the shield lightning bolts, and consider having the cloaks the same color inside and out.

Painting looks very good too!

My first complete mini with base for silver tower. Have a few more minis but not based. Trying to get the AoS 32mm bases now. Not sure if the base is Silver Tower worth, but I am trying.

Not sure if I should have made him more stronger or solid blue instead of letting the white show through a bit, but relearning everything again. This time I will not quit.

Just got this in the mail, marking my first foray into the mortal realms!!! Malus darkblade!!! I had bought a malus previously on eBay but he was terrible with missing pieces and too much damn glue. This is sealed and brand new!!! So what Color scheme should I do? I kinda like how he looks on the cover of his anthology book.

Looks great Davor! :-)

Are you gonna get the textured bases for them then? Those work really well with Silver Tower minis!

By every God in the Realms, MongooseMatt, I have no idea how you manage to get THAT much painted in such a short timespan but I do suspect it involves selling one's soul to the Dark Gods

I've been moderately productive as well, I finished the first five guys of my Skeleton Warriors unit and the last five of my Skeleton Archers; have a look
