Awesome stuff, Bottle.

Just in time for the Fiend's Lair scenario!

Thanks for the kind words guys, and Matt that Vampire party looks awesome! I love the classic lahmia vampire on horse. Such a nice model.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Looks like the masses of the Undead were being a bit rowdy. This set of leaders should sort them out!

Finally got round to an army I have been wanting to do ever since AoS came out - the Devoted of Sigmar!

Major bling on their War Altar...

Those devoted look really good ranked up on the field, good luck to filling out those flagellant units!

All looks amazing.

Also, just wanted to get a few opinions.
Finally started to paint my sylvaneth army and wanted to start with the 30 dryads first.

Should I keep them all the same colour or should I mix it up a bit so there's variation in the units?
While I like the uniform look of an army, I feel that there may be slight variations in the colours.

The Rock

I would just have a spot colour that identifies them as being part of the same unit, Jackal. So maybe colour each unit's leaves/runes differently?

That would work actually.
I wanted to keep them uniformed while keeping a natural look to them all.

I may paint them all up in the same scheme then pick out a few bits for subtle changes.

Holy Terra.

Or keep the runes/leaves the same and paint them with different colour wood. You could try giving some birch bark (dunno how) and others with gnarled, oaky wood, but give them all blue runes to show they are all part of the same awakening.

Got that?

Hi Guys,

I have been watching this thread for awhile and I am loving what I am seeing. Thought I would add some of my stormcast, I would have done it earlier but it has been a struggle to take a photo that I was happy with. These are not the best photos but happy enough with them.

I am very happy with the stormcasts themselves, I think they turned out well.

Anyway, here you go:

I hope you enjoy.

My favorite part out of all of it is actually the green wings on the prosecutors. Good work though, very clean coherent paint jobs.

So, I managed to get this guy done over the weekend...

As it turns out, not a difficult model to do at all - in fact, if you have done Blood Warriors, you may find it easier!

What about 4 seasons of Dryads, with a different squad for each season?

Currently wrestling with my hobby butterfly about what army to pick for starting AoS, but thinking I might go Serphon as I've always like the Lizardmen. Plenty of inspiration in here!

Great work there guys. I haven't been doing much as of late. Damn depression. But I tried a bit in the last few days.

I coloured the ring that Bottle reminded me of. Here is a saber and a work in progress Mammoth. Damn forgot the proper name.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

"Depression"? That's a funny way of saying "painting my genestealer cult" lol.

I know it's off topic but post a pic with that Patriarch really close to an AoS model so we can check him out too!

My deamon project has been completely derailed by the Genestealer Cults.

The detail on those flames is great, I love how the purple gives it an overall 'arcane' look. There's a humanoid or something on top obscuring it though.

Ready for armies on parade! Got a silver model with the display at the scale model convention, losing to Scar's miniature madness display... So very happy with the result of my first AoP entry.
