Man, do I love that guy. I kill him in every game I play (against dwarves...)

I've finally started to put a dent in my Bonesplittas.
Looks like about 2/3 of them painted. I got started, stopped and a few weeks ago started again. I'm only painting 5 models at a time right now and it's keeping me from getting frustrated or overwhelmed.
I figure I'm 15 to 20 models behind schedule, we lost power for about 2 and a half days last week, due to the hurricane.
When I get them all table top ready I'll post them to my blog and post a link to those pictures.
I'm still not decided about how I want to base them and I'm trying to come up with some interesting warpaint ideas for them.

I keep losing steam aswell.
I'll start getting through things then get distracted massively with either another project or something completely different.

Had a unit of spites on the desk for over a week now and only around half way.

To make it worse I got over 150 zombies still to assemble, let alone paint.

I think my collection is only just above 90 models 90 + the few characters. But the boar riders.. should count as two models.
I'm getting close to being able to put them on the table and my copy of Silver Tower has just come in. another 50+ models to paint! If I get these done that's next months project!!!
I am really looking forward to playing some games of both.

Out of my Mind

So I only got one day this week to do some hobby stuff because of work. That said I got the last 10 bases in (no pic, but nothing exciting).  I got 45 of the Horses built and stopped because the 10 bases needed to dry, and 45 is enough for a 1.5k list.  Started to sand the bases and got 20 done before I got another distraction.

So one of the other players saw my Army and left.  When he came back he said that he only bought it for the Sorceress and didn't need the rest of the kit.  So this got added to my force.  Of course I had to start putting him together, and admittedly, might end up painting him sooner than later as well.

I like the look of that middle guy, the blend of colors gives a cool alloy-ed look.

Agreed! The bronze and verdigris look great on it! :-)

I also have some new projects. Going to a tournament in December (Age of Santa) and need to get all this painted... (I am a slow painter!)

Also, my slaughterpriest got onto the GW flickr pool! :-D

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Congrats on the Flickr appearance mate. Really pulled out all the stops on that guy

Look forward to seeing the carriage thing painted up. Don't see many of those, to be honest. Painting horses can be quite tricky from what I've seen.

Well done bottle and definitely deserved!

While my painting que was 100 zombies I've moved my mourngul to the front for now.
Had a game this morning and it earned its place by killing skarbrand by turn 2, then a shaggoth by turn 4, followed by a lord of khorne.

Really did do well so the basecoat is drying now lol.

Did however die turn 6 to another lord of khorne who managed to get a wound through, followed by a roll of 6 with his mighty axe of khorne, sending it I to oblivion :(

Gratz Bottle! Though I'm surprised they left whatever that top bit is rather than removing it from the image. It's harder to view those expertly done snow effects with that dude in the way. But anyways, gratz again it's not often a base is so good as to earn recognition!
