As much as I would love to field the Undead Dragon I can't justify the points for it. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any great looking Undead Wyrm models?

I just use Reaper Bones, they have a couple of options if you leave the wings off.

I have my eye on this Basilisk from reaper. (should be released any time now)
http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/previews/latest/77371
It looks pretty skeletal and are sure to sell for a low price since it's a bones mini.

There is also the old Chaos Dragon from grenadier, still available through Mirliton -
Actually, if you want it as a non-flyer, is there any particular reason that it needs to be dragony, other than the name?
I am planning on using some other Mirliton figures in my Empire of Dust army -
Then there is a really ugly beasty from RAFM, sadly there is no image on their page, so I am stealing the one that Dr. Mathias has painted on The Miniatures Page -
The rider is not so much riding, as dangling off of the worm....
(Dr. Mathias' version stuck in my mind, and was why I thought of the critter.)
Though, going that route... there is also the smaller purple wormy critter in Reaper Bones line -
For $3, it is hard to beat.

That Undead mammoth! Well that's another model on my wishlist.
I've been painting up some of the reaper bones undead stuff. The dragons for the price I paid in the kickstarter are incredible. I've based them up onto old chariot bases and they fit into my KoW army well.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it. |

Ah, thanks for the heads up. Is it small enough that it would look silly mounting a man sized mini on it?
It's annoying that Reaper include rulers to show scale in their photos of separate components but not for one piece models. Whats up with that anyway?

They have a ruler in the picture now. The second notch is an inch high, I believe.
The basilisk is the size of a large dog.

Ah, so that's what those pegs are. I thought it was just some spikey barbarian poking into the pic or something.
Now I see that all models have these small pegs and it does seem like the second is at an inch of height as it's a few mm below the eye level of regular people.
That Basilisk is far to small to be a mount then :(

There are a couple of Dracolich models in the D&D miniatures range. Prepainted if you buy them off eBay, an there's an unpainted version of one in the Castle Ravenloft boardgame. Should be fairly cheap to buy, and pretty easy to repaint. Edit: A quick look on eBay reveals the basic prepaints are going for about £10... quite expensive for such a small model, maybe offer the seller a deal? There's also one available as a booster for the D&D Attack Wing game, and several much larger figures that start around £30. Nethermaul from Reaper is great, but the other undead Dragon in the Bones range (Kaladrax) is HUGE - it's more like a house pet than a gaming piece.

I have this model:
It's RAFM's Necrodrake. Only $35 CAD, and it's metal so you can use it as a weapon if our opponent cheats.

Nice model. Can we see it with an infantry piece for scale? Shame the only way to get it seems to be direct from RAFM, with horrid Canadian postal costs.

Here he is with a Mantic skeleton and one of my son's Ultramarines:
Is it that hard to get RAFM models in Oz? There a a few retailers here that will special order RAFM models, and the mark-up isn't that much worse than regular Japan prices for anything.
