Those are the same dice from the infinity rpg kickstarter. They charged a lot per single dice... guess I should have waited to buy them at retail.

Are they from Q-Workshop? I know Q-Workshop makes RPG dice for Pathfinder.

I would hate to see those used in the tabletop game. Unreadable at any distance.

New version of ITS released. For the TAGline event, Scarface and Cordelia are available to any faction but Caledonia (which gets the anaconda). Here http://assets.infinitythegame.net/downloads/itsrules/season8/en/v1.1/itsrules.pdf and the TAGline stuff here http://assets.infinitythegame.net/downloads/its-events/tagline/en/v1.0/its-tagline.pdf for those whohave curiousity about it.

Some of them are fine to read at a distance, some aren't. The Haqqislam ones for example are black on light tan with the numbers bolder than the detailing around them, which is very readable.

They were 8gbp for 5 during the kickstarter. That's cheaper than the 13 euros they're now asking for a set of 5. Though that's with the weakened gbp we have now, but the price wasn't much more.

Add a 20 percent discount to that and he actually would have been cheaper off (8gbp would've been a tiny bit more at conversion rates at that time than the €10,40 this will boil down to)

Nice! Where did you get the acetate from; was it pre-printed, or did you make it yourself?

Made it myself.

Graphics file from the downloads section (set up to various sizes). OHP acetate sheet. Laser printer. Compass cutter. Clear epoxy to attach.

Might have a try with super-phatic glue in the future, all I know is that superglue would be a really bad idea!

Because the antennas will be the same parts as the ones of the HMG Hsien. So there is no need to put them in that render.

It's a shame that no-one seems to have found a good way of adding the holo-view thingamywhatsit (or some representation thereof) to the miniature. Only in post game report, with Photoshop..

I also added the acetate discs to all my hackers:

I stand corrected!

Those do look excellent.

I'm a bit bummed that the Guija redesign means that the holos with the schematic aren't much use any more.

A two-handed hacker would be useful, so I could use the bigger designs, too.

I dunno... when those things are printed out to an appropriate scale, you can hardly see what the image is - especially as they end up being pretty translucent.

October releases, according to Mayacast
-Musashi box
-Tohaa Army Box (300 points)
-Suryat box (3 Suryat, 1 Tinbot)
-Wu Ming HRL
-Acontecimento Shock Army Starter box (4 regulars, 1 Akalis hacker, 1 Montesa with Spitfire. Crazy stuff.)
-Al Fasid HRL

Which means Dire Foes 6 is November, and available in December. Fair enough. I do want to see how that ASA box paints up. Looks like it will be a nice month, unless you play Haqq or Ariadna. Haqq players have nothing to complain about though. It's been a nice run for us this year.

I'm not complaining about the Al Fasid HRL...

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Hope the Suryats see their Vulcan shotgun model soon after this box comes out. If they're going to do the 3 models +tinbot boxes there needs to be some expectation that the missing profile will be seen within the year.

Yeah uh, I'm pretty sure Haqq players will be happy about a high ARM HI with a HRL that can go into suppressive fire.

Not all Haqq players. Me, I'm not a fan of the mini-- well, the render-- or the HRL. I can think of a whole lot of other minis that I would much rather see. (Tuareg Hacker for starters...) But good to hear that you guys will be happy with it. And for some reason I typed Haqq instead of Nomads in my previous post. A Freudian slip?

There's no arguing taste. Glad some folks like it. Maybe I'll revise my opinion once I see the painted version.

Yep. And that is why I specifically mentioned it. We've seen the render. It's fantastic. Now, let's get the mini already. (I'm more likely to use it as a doctor.) Al Fasid this month, and Dire Foes 6 next month means The tuareg hacker won't be available until next year at the earliest. (December release, January availability, but will Haqq get a December release? Or will the Hill -Billies finally get their Blackjack?)

Ariadna won't get their Blackjack this year. It's still not been designed I don't think.

As of GenCon, that was the case yes.

There's been a lot of talk among some of the die-hard USARF followers that the Al-Fasid might have started life as a Blackjack concept that somehow went astray. It's not entirely unfeasible given the fact that such a thing has happened before.

I do want my Blackjacks though...the T2 Sniper is the most important one I feel.

Except that the Al Fasid armour and weapons are Haqqislam. The weapons are just upscaled Haqqislam gear and the armour is Azra'il armour with alterations here and there. While CAD design has let CB get a little lazy with design like that, I'm unaware of designs crossing factions in such a way.

If the Al Fasid started life as a Blackjack, it would have been at the basic mannequin stage, which wouldn't really count.

I think the 'talk' of the Al Fasid starting as a blackjack is the same 'talk' that went around that the Druze Kilelr Hacker was actually a Wardriver. People wanted to beleive it because they liked the design and wanted the unit they wanted to get a release.

The only design I'm willing to grant crossed factions is the Kum riders, and that's mostly because the Kum chopper is so stereotypically 'US biker', but they decided on a more miltary look for the USAriadna bikers. The Kum leg armour hasn't been seen anywhere else in Haqqislam, and could have easily started life as a different faction design.

The speculation about the Al Fasid starting life as a Blackjack was more by the bulkiness of the armor and a few other smidges(the helmet design, for example) being things that struck people as 'off' for the timeframe of us not having had anything but a blurry couple of photos to see it in.

I think the 'talk' of the Al Fasid starting as a blackjack is the same 'talk' that went around that the Druze Kilelr Hacker was actually a Wardriver. People wanted to beleive it because they liked the design and wanted the unit they wanted to get a release.

Well, that and nobody expected Haqqislam to get another S5 infantry that used to be standard infantry.

The reason the Druze Killer-HD Hacker was considered to be a Wardriver(at least for me) was the fact that nothing about her suggested "Druze".

That's partially correct.

Originally the two biker designs(Mavericks and Desperadoes) were supposed to be separated into the Kazak and USARF sectorials. They insisted that US would get the rambunctious redneck bikers and the Russians would get the disciplined military dragoon style bikers.

I'm getting it for whatever stupid reasons I can think of.
You do end up with
- 1 Limited Edition Tag
- 1 General Release Umbra
- 1 Tourney Pack including Joe Scarface
- Patches and other odds/sods

I think I can sell off the Umbra and a couple of things and make it a reasonable price for the parts I want.
