Maybe the Curse of the Wulfen just gives you wolf legs?

They all seem to have wolf legs and really long fingernails to be honest.

Really don't like all having bare arms.

Not that I had been expecting anything other than total ridiculousness from this release, but still...

Those pics always make miniatures look like ****. Also arranging the bits in awkward poses is kind of GW's trademark nowadays. I am looking forward to the Wulfen bits and making conversions with them.

Thanks for the img tags, Kanlu, my web connection is so bad atm I can hardly post

The Space Marine armor looks really like cloth on these pictures.

Will wait for smoother ones to get my final judgment, but well...proportions seems like going out of the window here.

Unless they're Chaos Werewolves. Chaos explains everything - even Space Marine Power Armor being as thin as a cloth bracer.

Those seemingly- ice claws might actually mean we get Son of Murderfang!

The lost sons of Russ enter the battlefield through special warp rifts, propelled by rockin' guitar riffs.

In an effort to keep expanding the range they've really lost their way IMO. If I ever return to the Wolves it will definitely be in 30k

Look about the same as the older Wulfen, just more dynamic posing..

I like how you can see parts of the Black Carapace interfaces on their arms.

Those look good, look to be 1.5 three height of a marine. Willing to bet that's bulveye/bloodhowl with his arms spread out lounging.

I'm more interested in what the figures on either side of the p age are, the one with the thunder shield three other with the word back pack. I see 3 kits alone in that image aaaaa

I've loved the 13th ever since 2003. I was excited, but nervous to see these models. The metals were pretty good.

These look...not so great. It all boils down to the proportions and the heads. Maybe it is a terrible picture of decent sculpts.

But if I had to put money on it...

Edit: It does look like we got Son of Murderfang, though. That is something at least.

Much too early to call it one way or another with one picture, but it's hardly a promising start.

So I was starting to collect Space Wolves when GE dropped the last dex, with the sled and MURDERFANG.

Killed all interest on the spot when I saw those.

That one leaked image makes me so very happy I did. The wolves are my favourite loyalist chapter when done right, but GW just can NOT do them right.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Sorry if this is a repetitious question, but do we know if this is a supplement or a whole new codex replacing the current core one?

....I....what?

Ok. So we're getting a Space Pooch update before we're getting a CSM update. That is already...borderline batgak crazy (hey guys, let's update the codex that's 15 months old rather than the one that's over 2 years old....)

But all I see are a bunch of Marines with Wolf legs doing the Monthy Python Silly Walk sketch.

Very silly walks indeed.

Now only a CSM player.

It is a campaign book (similar in style to Kauyon, etc..).

I love Grimnar's chariot, I love these models, and don't forget that the kit that makes murderfang also makes Bjorn and a fantastic variant of the dreadnaught.

Since I play Bran Redmaw's great company, this has me VERY excited

tja, the problem is that the bad things won't get better

I always read this sentence, waited and it just got worse. Since fantasy Endtimes bad first impressions lead to a much worse result the more infors/pics I saw

Those models don't have the style of the old metal ones, and I did not believe GW will ever bring some that look as good as the old ones
If I just but some Beastmen arms and legs on Space Wolves power armour and add "frozen" claws, I get the same result (it will look better if I just add the arms and skip the leg stuff)

Harry, bring this ring to Narnia or the Sith will take the Enterprise

We don't know yet, Shrapnelsmile, but what he have heard so far is that there will a book too (rumored by Darnok - reliable) and that it could be a campaign book like Montka and Kauyon (our guesses / also a source on Faeit)

Hard to tell from the pics but not sure they are going to blow me away. Although in general it still saddens my inner Garou that GW have gone for the 'classic' look werewolf for their Wulfen.

over this..

Cheers
