I really like the look of Heatwave, Cold and Grodd, Raven too though I'll pass on her as I just don't like her as a character. Hawk I don't like, it's a very weird sculpt.

Can't wait for Captain Cold and Heatwave. Will be looking to pick them up as well as the other TV stuff (minus Gotham)

I do hope we get some more in the Gotham line at some point. A new GCPD set with Gordon, Bullock and some new cops would be nice, and a Gotham-style Mister Freeze would be awesome.

Defence stats can mean many things, it's partly how 'tough' you are bits a lot of it is about how dodgy and sneaky you are - EG how hard you are to hit...

It's the Resistance 2/physical/energy that's the big thing.

Very interesting to see the DC Universe game will be essentially the Marvel Game.

Still, Bird is the winner for me. Cheap sidekick, with Smoke Grenades, blood damage, Elite skill and stats, and that Military Training is pretty awesome. He's going to fit right into a lot of Bane lists.

Really? Because I've posted reviews about their poor quality casts a few times now and am still in the group. Also a recent comparison of a plastic bat signal toy being better than Knights official mdf one.

I shared a video of someone painting a great Deathstroke theme on there, but it was on a GW assassin model and I got a sternly worded message about it and a warning never to do any such thing again. Can't say it endeared me to the group.

So my Suicide Squad box just arrived and.. wow, it'a pretty big. It looks great though, so kudos to KM on the packaging! This thing will fly off the shelves at your average FLGS!

Awesome! Mine is on the way, should be here Monday. Slightly delayed from the initial 26th October release date, but if that's just a sign of popularity then I'm fine with it, this game needs more players!

Interior is surprising too, with a layer of foam to protect the miniatures and a tray to hold each. This bodes well for future boxed sets in the DC / Marvel line (where's my Agents of SHIELD set dammit!) but also for their Harry Potter range too.

So do you have to pay money for these or am I missing a link somewhere? All I see is an option for adding it to the shopping cart where it wants me to pay shipping for it.

Click the link that says Product Data Sheet next to the Add To Cart button, that brings them up as PDFs which you can then save. Same place you'd find the stat cards for all the models.

Its actually not doing great. The few places that have it have loads. Outpost said any orders placed after Oct 14th may have to wait to get it but they've still not sold through their first batch and they had it for cheaper than anywhere else yet cant shift it

As boxed products go, it's almost up there with Operation Ice Storm (and presumably Red Veil).

My box just arrived, and basically, I'm blown away. It's a real sign that Knight are stepping up to the plate in more than just mini design, the production values here frankly seem to trump Icestorm (which I had held as a gold standard for metal starter set box games). The box is nice and sturdy, with every model in its own tray, a layer of foam that can easily be reused in a carrying case in a pinch, the printing on the building/tokens is top notch, and all the casts look to be really clean and definitely a lot sharper than some of the older KM stuff. The rulebook is likewise nicely printed, keeping the colourful presentation from the hardback.

All in all, it's easily worth the asking price, if you can get it at a discount then it's frankly one of the best hobby products around in this price range at the moment.

The If anyone wants pics of anything in particular just let me know and I'll snap some, I intend to write up a full review later anyway. And if anyone's wondering about the new Batman card as that's not been shown yet, likewise let me know (the short version is he's very much a 'no frills' version in the vein of MillerBat, but with the very nice Sustained Defence and Close Combat Master abilities). Lovely one-piece model as well.

I agree, I was impressed. I hope they make the buildings available separately (and do more of them)
