They've said it's a new version of Joker.
Also, they've clarified that Hatter is still a Leader for Wonderland. He's merely gaining Free Agent as well.

A resin starter for each main group by the end of the year would be fine.
No prices set yet.
No preorders yet.
Our first "new" resin looks good, but Grodd looked good too, until in my hands.
And comparing KM to FFG; KM has always leaned on the excuse that they are gamers and not busincessmen, but 5 years of running a gaming business should mean you learn something. I'm willing to still give them a bit of slack, but my KM budget has certainly been cut significantly over the course of this year. I used to buy everything, now its maybe 1-2 items every other month.
Monolith is right around the corner as well.

It was brought up on the previous page but yeah, apparently the admin of Arkham City Limits, the independently run Facebook group that Knight designated as the official Facebook group, has been going super ban happy, removing anyone that speaks negative about the company even if the comments were made in other groups. There's a discussion on it in a pinned topic in the trade group.

Ha, the ACL group has been that way for years. I left it 3 years ago and started a batman australia group for locals, somebody made a post about the ACL admin being a spank there recently, and he magically turned up to argue about it. No, I am sure it is everybody else who is wrong.

I know it's not fair to compare FFG to KM but I am going to anyway.
We know exactly what is in the Star Wars Legion game coming out late 2017/early 2018...we have very little idea about BMG 2.0 out in 30-40 days.
(and no ability to pre-order yet)
Well to order from their site when they become available for preorder from the time they are released you wait approximately 3 weeks after the actual release to get them and pay an obnoxious amount for shipping. Usually about 2 months after release you can see them for purchase through US based online vendors. I am finally seeing the Maroni packs that I think they posted for sale a month or so back on their website on some US based vendors online sites.
I find it really stupid for them to be switching measurement to inches considering they are from a country that uses metric. It seems like they are trying to support a USA market while their distribution to the US sucks and the majority of the stuff is rarely available. They need a more reasonable distributor if they want to start seeing placement in US retail gaming stores.

I suspect in this case it's not a question of the US distributor being poor but KM just not being able to supply them with new/replacement stock fast enough or in high enough qualtities
(and like many US based companies they don't hold a product launch until their international distributors have product)

So, our first set of starters are Joker, Bane and Sirens in September.
Trait changes:
Fast
This model gains +2” to its basic movement distance.
Tireless
Once per round, this model can spend 1SC as if it were 1MC.
Discuss.

Honestly, the Spanish based companies generally seem to not know wtf to do when working with a US distributor. This used to happen a lot with Infinity before they started partnering with Warstore's distribution side of things.

Supposedly Justice League Dark is in the pipeline so I'd love to see that out soon.
Other than that I'm just looking forward to more teases, and to have the actual rules in my hands to try out.

Glad to see the cards being consolidated down. Still kind of a mess of keywords, but at least it won't take up so much space on the table. On the whole looking forward to the new edition. Not a full revamp I'd love to see but still looking to be quite the improvement.

I'm curious to see what the rank and affiliation icon look like when you have characters with different ranks in different affiliations. Also the rivals icon when you only hate individual characters and not whole crews.
I expect we'll see more double sided cards to account for characters with extra special rules.

Question guys. Do you think the new resin figs will be less parts or easier to put together? I have about 4 blister boxes of stuff in near mint condition and every once in a while I look at how many pieces the "goons" are in I put them back in my BMG box. Should I toss them on eBay and hope the new resin stuff is less 'fiddly'?

The only resin we have from KM are a few of the the old (at least 6 years ago) 75mm lines and the new Grodd crew. The 75mm resins were not good, but hopefully only a sense of who KM were when they started, and not who they are now.
The Grodd crew was recently released. I still see issues with quality (flash, pitting), but they assembled very nicely. Even the shaman with the three point connection (shoulder, shoulder, wrist).
So, if Grodd is the new baseline, then we should see better assembly at least.

Does anyone know the price point for these new sets yet?
And the new sets have been mentioned as Joker, Bane and Sirens, does anyone know where this information is from, and which Sirens they are?

Regarding assembly, the new models definitely look simpler. We've now seen all 4 Joker models and 3 are one-piece, the other just has a separate arm. Spoiler for big pics: Also a few more rules changes previewed: Bat Armour changes- Mk1- 5+ 'save' immediately before Damage is rolld Mk2- 6+ save as above, +1" to movement (nice buff to really make DKR the fast Batman) Mk3- 5+ save as above, can attack enemies within 2" so long as the model moved that turn. Dirty Fighter This model can use ranged weapons even if it is in contact with enemy models. If it uses a ranged weapon to target an enemy model in contact, it gains +1 to its Hit rolls. Gunman (2SC) Until the end of the round, when this model makes a ranged attack, it can make 2 ranged attacks instead of 1. Each Attack consumes an Ammunition Magazine as usual. The two attacks can be performed with different weapons. I seem to be in the minority in disliking the new cards, especially the reduced area for assigning tokens. Going to be a bit fiddlier to see at a glance what is assigned to what and to track Endurance.

I don't think you're in a minority. I've not really heard anyone praise them. I'm more ambivilant myself as they definitely took up too much space before and I had been concidering editing up my own smaller cards before this.

I wasn't exactly a fan of the old cards, but they were functional which the new ones down't seem to be. But I suppose we'll see when we get a hold of them.

I rather like it actually. The guards there are generic enough that you could run them with a few different profiles if you wanted, the Batman is very nice if a little simple and on the whole I'm just pleased that Batman finally has a starter set. Should make getting in on that faction a lot easier.

A huge swath of their metal line went direct order only. They're now coming out with new resin stuff. So far nothing has been a resculpt of a previous metal, it's all new characters, or new versions of characters.
