That's the 4" action figure size ship right? That's a fantastic find. I bought two at about that price when Amazon was closing them out and I thought they were gone forever. Might buy another. It's a great option for toybashing in 28mm.

In addition to being great wargaming conversion fodder it'd be a fantastic addition to the collection of anyone who likes 3.75-4" (1/18) action figures, especially Mecha. It's the sort of action figure vehicle I wished for as a kid.

Yeah, its nice and large and looks very well suited. I may go by Ross again Friday to see if I can find another. I went looking for the AMP suits, but no joy.

I'm not sure what everyone's resale economy is like, but I'm seeing alot of porcelain christmas buildings at local resale shops, mostly for 3-10 bucks. I've got plenty so I'm only buying the occasional accessory (bridge, fences, etc) but they make great terrain intact with a bit of texture and paint...

I must admit, as much as I love Hoth stuff, being old and the proud possessor of the Kenner Star Wars Micro Hoth Ion Cannon sees me good at the 28mm scale.

$7.99 at Hobby Lobby. It’s a modular solar powered rover that you can build in three configurations but I converted it using the greeblies and sprue inside the kit. Then paint, decals and a wash afterwards. Also yields a lot of extra parts when you’re done. Cannon, missile launcher, antennae, radar dishes, etc

Not a toy exactly. But the plastic capsule for a Gachapon type thing.

I’ve got three, and what they’re screaming at me is Bio-Pods for a Necromunda settlement. Perhaps for the Chem Dealer and/or Rogue Doc to grow certain allegedly medicinal herbs in.

Not sure you’d get it from the pic, mostly because I have massive hands, but they’re around twice the height of a Necromunda Ganger, and the top half is already frosted - which to my eye suggest a highly humid interior.

So, whilst I’d want to paint the lower half and attach greeblies? The top half, perhaps with some kind of greeblies Geegaws right up the top to suggest a light fitting, shouldn’t need painting.

Fill the bottom half with like, modelling clay or something, then fill with plakky plants and that.

We have a couple of these types of terrain pieces in our FLGS collection and they look good on the table for pre-made terrain.
