And at this point I can't help but feel you're missing the irony. For someone who goes on to speak on the ignorance of others (on a rather entitled fashion dare I say) you missed a point you yourself have mentioned.
They are a company, and therefore they are free to charge you for stuff. And I repeat myself: if, for paying 5 dollars a months in order to get a lot of content (which the "infomercials"-which this really wasn't as they were speaking of plenty other topics aside from the sculpt- are but a small part of), you feel there's something wrong, there's indeed something wrong but not on the place you think about.
They are free to do so, but I'm free to criticize them for it. Which is something you seems to have a lot of trouble accepting. Accepting to pay to watch informercials will only encourage GW to use the kind or pratices (micro-transaction). It's sad how kids nowadays have lost every notions of consumer activism

I don't pay for the infomercials. I pay for the battle-reports. It's also sad that sometimes people forget about preferences and the fact that this can be free if you watch it at the right time. This is how twitch works and has done so for years. You see micro-transaction I see product bundling.

Numerous Twitch channels offer their previous videos for free. Even charging to make us see their battle reports is a micro-transaction. And it's unsurprising that you see this in a positive light. You seem to be completely incapable of criticizing GW, and always feel the need to defend them against any (slight) criticisms that they received.

I wish I got this kind of micro-transactions as a rule. 60 hours of content for 5 dollars/euros a month? Most micro-transactions satisfy themselves with a skin or a two minutes-worth benefit. Main reason I stopped playing MMOs was because they were becoming too prevalent and I didn't want to fork out that cash.

Both valid points tbh, yes a company could offer these videos to us for free and just put them on youtube. Then again it's a small monthly fee for anyone who does want to support this.
For people who want to pay, they can watch to their heart's content. For people like me and others, who don't pay, can watch it free as it happens or just rely on screen caps and transcripts, I wouldn't call GW greedy devils for doing it.

It's still whales vs. casuals, though. And you're not even getting a game out of it - it's GW monetising their marketing, you paying them so they can advertise at you. It's White Dwarf talkies.
If you're not paying for it, is it worth taking time off work or getting up at whatever o'clock in your timezone to see? Are screen caps and transcripts
just as good?
Still really puzzled by the sold out Judicators on the UK and other EU sites as there listed as no longer available, with no email when back in stock option. If there getting reboxed what could GW be changing?

well there were those rumours around when AoS was just launching that GW was planning to prevent the SKU bloat of the old fantasy range by dropping stuff when they stopped selling (as well)
so this could be a sign that that is indeed going to be the case with the new weird vertical X-bow shooty sigmarites coming out as replacements that new players will get without knowing there was ever anything else and at least some of the established player base will pick up to have the new thing too

Because the bits that the disc rests on (either the magic-y swirls for the Herald or the flames for the Exalted Flamer) have the tails for the screamers modeled into them. That disc is NOT designed to be used without the screamers pulling it.
The fire and "swirly stuff" come in parts. The bit that connects to the disc part is a separate part that you glue/stick next to the parts integrated with scrrames tails.
Exactly. There are 3 parts to each. The 'swirly stuff' and flames each have screamer tails molded into them, but the 3rd part is a piece that attaches to the disc and it does NOT have any connection to the tails. And there are 2 inner discs for the kit as well
So with absolutely not cutting (other than off the sprue) you can make 1 Burning Chariot, 1 Herald on foot, and 1 Blue Scibes. Best $40 a Tzeentch player can spend.
The E-flamer would have to forgo the outer-ring disc so that the Scribe could attach all the books.
-
Could you do that on your own? Sure. But the idea that GW would include instructions for it still doesn't work, because that would assume that GW include a flying stand that isn't already there. And given their recent trend of moving away from flying stands, I find this unlikely.

Flying stand? What are you talking about? There are 2 pieces that support the disc in the box, not including the screamer tail pieces. 1 Flame piece for the Burning chariot, and 1 swirly magic piece for the Scribes/Herald on disc.
I just got a Chariot kit recently and I made 1 E-Flamer chariot, 1 Disc Heralds, 1 Icon Horror (out of the blue + staff from the kit). No flying stand or greenstuff needed.

In other news, we know someone has the WD, so why do we not have confirmed contents for the higher priced Screamers/Flamers/Pink Horrors?
There's this POST from MongooseMatt who said his GW rep says there's no changes
We'll find out for sure in about seventeen hours...

If it really is an actual price hike then no one in there right mind would buy them individually over the Start Collecting! set, which is no doubt their plan...

It depends on what you need. I'm doing 2,000 points of mainly Tzaangors with two minimum size units of Screamers, so a Start Collecting box wouldn't make sense for me.

Yeah, GW sure is "getting better". Rebox some miniatures and raise the price.
Cmon man, they used to just raise the prices for no reason, we got new box art! And yes I did just swallow that vomit the hurled its way into my mouth when I typed that.

No.
Just no.
It's the same product, for a significantly increased price. It's the opposite of value, and it's just proof that this "getting better" nonsense is just that: NONSENSE.

Well I suppose I can now rest assured that you are overreacting instead of assuming such.
Price rises on three reboxings would be gakky, but I'd doesn't suddenly undo everything they've done right the past year. Even on price alone they have released a ton of boxes with savings of up to 50% and it doesn't look like they're stopping that anytime soon.
