I could see Shadow War at the tail end of the month. Preorders on April 22, releasing on April 29 or preorders on April 29 and releasing on May 6 with the May White Dwarf having a "Shadow War" focus.

We may well have Shadow war preorder this weekend released in the first week of April, and then the overlords as shown above. We will probably get retailer info tomorrow and it is just 3 1/2 days till the Adepticon seminar (not that I am counting) so we will get our answers soon enough.

Hoping for Shadow War to drop early myself, would nicely coincide with my vacation.

Ditto. I have some time off coming up, and throwing a week at a couple sets of Shadow-War terrain, plus home-brewing some ladders/walk-ways for my existing terrain would be a fun project.

Also, probably relaxing as the Overlords release means I will then have to buy, build, paint an ongodly amount of new models. :-p

Keeping my own AOS purchases contained to the book itself for the time being. Having never played the game before I'd rather see if the fluff works for me before buying steampunk dwarves like mad.

Just in case anyone was interested in the scale of these guys:

Spoiler:

So they're smallish but not too small. At least they'll be quick to paint up!

Looks the same as the fyreslayers and 8th Dwarf stuff.

Khorne also gets some love with 'Blades of Khorne', which is their take on the Tzeentch book.

Probably a bit longer, well, hopefully in my opinion, as I think Rotbringers need a few more kits to be on par with DoK.

Indeed, I do really like they are bringing the god stuff together into one book like the old days and that art for the overlords god dam that looks good.

With regard to Nurgle, all they need is Marauder/Cultist equivalents, possibly some kind of new Cavalry, and of course plakky Great Unclean One and Beasts of Nurgle.

Very pleasant surprise. Here's hoping we get a solid allegiance ability to help bring us up to snuff.

They are also most likely going to get their own khornate prayer lore as well. Hmmm a mortal/daemon army lead by slaughter priests.

Also, this thread is getting really buggy and unstable (this was a double post) now that it's beyond 200 pages. Could we maybe get a new AoS thread going soon?

That's what the community site suggested. That'll be nice. I'd love it if we got some sort of Blood Tithe system like KDK in 40k. The army gets stronger as more units die.

Good to see that, now just Nurgle's turn and the Slaanesh plot to reach it's climax and the main dark god fans will be set.

I hope we get to see alot more battletomes once the GH2 comes out. (Undead and aelves need a bone, GW)

There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Also yes a good point to give Khorne's update now so they can concentrate on new stuff. Plus, more glorious fluff bubble hype!
