In for $1 right now, will have to look this over more later but as a first timer I might grab the beginner pledge level.

Also will have to watch that movie as I just watched hateful 8 recently.

Pleasantly surprised the pics of Tiny went slightly viral (if you can call it that) on Facebook. I usually get maybe 5-10 likes from the usual likers, this one had like 575 last time I checked. Never had a post perform like that before. I even got someone posting a comment about how evil my game is, I guess I’ll be rotting in heck one day.

I asked Krisztian to start sculpting the Black Eyed Children, I think it’s a good chance we’ll get them unlocked in the end, the funds are tricking up and if we continue to bring in a few hundred bucks a day it should be no problem.

You say tiny is an ogre?

He looks like a mole-man to me perhaps a race of mole people/ground hog miners .

Yeah he's gonna be a real big model.. I thought it would be nice to give the mortal gangs a few big models rather than having them only for the supernatural ones. There will be more big models among the cursed and beasts, but I'd like to have a few mortal ones scattered around.

Someone on FB pointed out that he looked like a leprechaun.. and now I can't unsee that. So I decided he comes from Ireland, maybe I could fit the Giant's Causeway into his fluff. Was thinking his kind would also be around Scandinavia too, where they have lots of stories about trolls. Or should trolls be a separate thing?

I would keep trolls a separate thing. I like the idea of him being Irish.

Are your minis going to be metal or resin? I didn't see that info on the KS page.

It's in the FAQ They are going to be resin, unless we end up needing like 500 copies or more of everything.. and I don't think that will happen.

My plan is to invest in a good high res 3D DLP printer (currently looking into the Solus), and do production straight from the 3D files.. no molds or casting. So instead of filing off mold lines you may have to clean up a few support spots, but at the end of the day it will be a much cleaner and more detailed mini, and less chance of warping or shrinking.

This also depends on print time, but I believe I can average around 50 minis per day which is probably the same as if I did resin casting. If it ends up being way too slow, I can still print my own masters to send out for old school resin production.

I'm hoping the printed production will work out though, if it does I'd like to move over to more of a print-on-demand kind of thing for all of my minis. That would cut my costs way down in the future.

Shouldn't have closed that window, then... Would the printer only be used for the current campaign's products or for previous campaigns' as well?

I have a spare Brimstone hero lying around if you still need one.

Prints would be for the new campaign for now, and then when old metal minis sell out I'd be doing them in resin going forward for restocking.

Totally forgot :( Gonna hit up Amazon and order a copy of the game. Lots of folks have said my minis are a great fit though. Which box set is the original one? Figure if I'm gonna play it I may as well start at the beginning.

There are two starters, one with an aliens and robots theme with a Lovecraftian frozen city and the other with zombies and demons and a more Indiana Jones jungle theme. They have different kinds of heroes, too. The first has a lawman, a bandido, a sneaky saloon girl and a gunfighter while the second has a lawman, an Indian scout, a tough rancher and a priest (Mage).

Brimstone is the reason I'm interested in pledging for your campaign, although I'd probably buy a nonmetallic Jersey Decil mini just to have. Any plans on a Chupacabra or Flatwoods Monster? Or Mothman or the Kentucky Goblin Scare creatures?

the valentines day kingdom death releases featured a pair of direct 3d printed minis (1000 in total) so it's clear they think it's viable at that sort of production level

it's going to be interesting to see what people make of the orange resin as a lot will have bought without reading the description and get a shock when they arrive!

Actually the Jersey Devil is available now, and in resin since it's a big model.
https://www.skirmishgames.com/store/blackwater-gulch/the-jersey-devil

Also chupacabras but they are metal (for now)
https://www.skirmishgames.com/store/blackwater-gulch/chupacabra-minion-pack

Got plans for a Mothman, Sasquatch and many others Was also planning a 5th faction to be Tommyknockers, basically goblins type creaturs that live in caves and mines and eat unsuspecting prospectors for lunch. Might be a while till I can make that happen though.

Also over the weekend I'm going to be adding the rest of the 2nd edition models to the KS campaign as add-on items since a few folks requested them. Guess it's cheaper shipping to do one big order.

And yeah i saw that Kingdom Death thing. I think for smaller boutique operations like mine or limited short-run special products like the Valentines printing direct is a great option. I'm looking forward to having nothing in stock, and just printing & shipping whenever someone places an order.

Shipping is a concern of mine. Will the Jersey Devil show up in the Ks? What are the shipping charges likely to look like for a handful of minis? For that matter, what is the shipping like in your web store?

Pretty reasonable. I just ordered two minis (wereharpoon and a belle witch) and the shipping came to $5.29.

Thanks

I just updated the Minion and Monster packs to include the Jersey Devil and also the Chupacabras. I'll be updating the add-ons menu to include all of the new solo minis from the previous campaign too in a bit.

Glad to see this talking off... GIMMEE!!!!!!

Absolutely stunning how far your sculpts have come. Great job, as usual! All, Necros Kickstarters are total professional organized affairs. He is worth the support, and his figures are top notch.

Question for me- What is the total package deal for the whole range of just these new ones?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

That would be the $85 Collector pledge Gets you 6 Minion or Monster packs of your choice, and a free Tall Man.

I was also thinking about adding a bundle that includes the rules, all 2nd edition miniatures + these new ones, at a bigger discount

So, the price for add ons is determined by the backer's pledge level, right? How does the shipping scale up?

Made in us
The Last Chancer Who Survived

Norristown, PA

Yes, for the minion and monster packs, they're $18 normally and $15 each if you pledge $85 or more.

Shipping shouldn't be too bad for the US, unless you add in the rulebook that's a little heavier. The minis are relatively light, even the metal ones. Unless the post office pulls some shenanigans with their prices again, I expect most pledge levels to ship for under $10 for the US. Don't quote me on that though, it's just a guess and shipping rates seem to be changing every other day. But in general US shipping won't be too bad.

The game looks awesome and a great way to update a few teams and add more minis for Western gaming!!!

Thanks

We're at around 80% funded now. Slowly working it's way up.

After this is done I'm also planning to go back and update my generic skirmish rules to match the new BWG rules, and add new content for that, build more on the fantasy rules and add other genres like sci fi too. Been kicking around ideas in my head for that, if I could provide new content on a weekly basis maybe I could set that up with Patreon? Would be things like new genre supplements, character bios, modeling guides, scenarios, battle reports, stuff like that. Will take a while to get that all organized so it would be a few months away.

Yeah basically everything from our previous campaign is going to be metal. Same goes for any of the old classic minis too.

All of the minis from this campaign will be resin. The large monsters will be cast the old fashioned way.. For the regular sized minis I want to see if I can do resin production straight from my 3D printer, if it's way too slow then they will be cast in old school resin. Either way, resin for all minis going forward I'm hopeful that the 3D printing production will work, will be a lot more efficient for me to produce myself, but that will depend on the printer speed.

At around 85%, little over 4 days to go!

I'm hoping to have that third Black Eyed kid sculpt done soon, then we'll start on Jacob. I'm pretty confident we'll get a couple of the stretch goals unlocked in the end, or at the very least through the pledge manager.

Well, I'm in for a couple of things. I'm also really interested in seeing minis 3D printed for direct sale, as the potential for that seems huge.
