took a mold from the thanatar-calix pauldron to add the bit missing on the normal thanatar design so it looks 'proper'.
(the mold is rested against the thanatar-calix base)

I've put the last bit of paint on the main miniature tonight, so it's just the base to do. The weathering took around three times as long as painting it neatly to start with.

Here's my finished Plasticard Killa Kan

Looks pretty cool, I love the gross blood on the claw

Maybe some weathering could add to it, rust and grease on the pistons etc? Only if you're looking to go further, though, It's looking ace as it is.

This is the second model I paint in like 7-8 years, so I'm a bit rusty All tips n' tricks are welcome

As usual this month, there are some stellar entries. I'm suffering from a total lack of motivation, and when I do get painting, the artist's block sets in. Finally making some progress, but it's going to be down to the wire folks. Great job everyone who has finished (or is close) and good luck to everyone in the same boat as me!

Well everyone's been posting wip's lately, s'pose I'd better get one up ...think the main body is mostly done, but all the other parts need a lot of work...hope I can get it done in time!

...not sure if I'm going to get the chance to do the BA captain, but I have a Guardian Heavy Weapon Platform sitting about that's ready for paint. Might not be the most stellar entry ever, but it's something.

Would it work? I can get a pic of it up tonight if it is acceptable. (As a T7 little mini tank, I would like to make the argument that it's pretty tough.)

To be fair, it's not quite a tank since it doesn't have much of a driver; I guess it's more half little-bitty tank and half floating little drone weapon thing.

Update on my guy, hes got a fair bit of paint on now and I decided on a name, he will be Tony Orkommi, prominent guitarist in the Heavy Metal rock band Black Squigoth (read Tony Iommi and Black Sabbath).
Doing the individual strings on the guitar was very tricky, I couldn't get them under enough tension to be perfectly straight.

I finally was able to get to a hobby store and picked up some proper brush on paints so I can actually line highlight my tank. Running out of time! Luckily I work Thursday night and will have 8 hours of uninterrupted time

I can see I'm going to be voting for around a dozen entries again this month!
