The big Hit. Although it was "of a time".

I thought about that as well but it, while fun, is fairly inconsequential whereas Boogie Nights was an incredibly solid film (in lots of ways).

You didn't like Planet of the Apes? I'm shocked. Shocked! I say.
Three Kings was great IMO, The Departed as well.
And I like The Other Guys, I don't care what anybody says!
The Departed was great, The Other Guys was great, and he was pretty good in Four Brothers.

Marky Mark wasn't the lead in Three Kings or The Departed.
Four Brothers was a pretty good remake of The Sons of Katie Elder though, and one I forgot about.

This wasn't a monumentally significant event like 9/11, 7/7, etc., that changed our national way of life. It is just another case of Muslim terrorist immigrants murdering and maiming innocent people in accordance with their ideology. It's just sad.

The Boston bombing may not have been as significant an event as 9/11, but that doesn't mean it wasn't significant and a story worth telling.
People on this board bitch about Hollywood re-making movies endlessly, and when Hollywood comes out with a movie based on recent history it is poo-pooed for not being "cinematic" enough or I guess not being monumental enough to cover?
Erin Brockovich was a successful movie about a small time lawyer and his researcher taking on a corrupt gas company. The story focused on small-town events that didn't impact the country as a whole, and was not very cinematic in terms of content, but it was a successful movie both commercially and critically.
I guess I don't see your point, Nuggz. Movies aren't only made about epic events which change the course of a nation's history.

The reason 9/11 changed the US national way of life is because your leaders and media pushed it so hard, and the US population let them. They had an 'evil other' with which to direct all your attention and energy at and make themselves even more obscenely wealthy in the process.

The fact that you believe this paranoid nonsense shows how effective your leaders have been in tricking you into falling for the 'evil other' narrative. That is, to quote a great philosopher, "Sad."

What part of his statement was incorrect? They were immigrants. They were radicalized Islamic Jihadists with one having training in Chechnya to make the bombs. They killed innocents to further their ideology. Note: you can make almost the same statement about McVeigh. He was radicalized and killed innocents to further his ideology.

When Nuggs said "in accordance with their ideology", was he referring to the radicalized jackasses that did the bombing or all/most Muslims? There have been lots of "Mooslam" bashing posts in the past, but he may have just meant these specific jackasses and their beliefs. Not all Muslims everywhere, all the time.

They were immigrants.
They were radiacalized Islamic Jihdists with one having training in Chechnya to make the bombs.
They kileed innocents to further their ideology.
Yeah, my sentence was unclear. The general thrust I got from his statement was that this sort of thing is commonplace and the inevitable result of immigration from Muslim countries. It isn't, but it is very convenient for your leaders (both stripes) to push this agenda. The amount of profiteering being done is what fuels the immoral War on Terror.
