Got my box today. Ordered 15 of the RPG books. Three of them were pulled wrong. I got doubles of two books and a random game of thrones item that I can only describe as a really cool paper weight. I figured they would be sold out of the books that they didn't send me, but after talking to them on the phone this morning they already shipped my replacements out. Hate that the mistake happened, but they fixed it as well as anyone could ask for.

I ordered all the chaos rpg books, several warhammer invasion sets, and a core set for warhammer conquest. They shipped me th tyranid expansion instead of the core set. They shipped the correct item out the next day and told me to keep the tyranid expansion after I emailed them pics of the box receipt and what was in it.

Only problem is I owned the tyranid expansion...

Squall, one of your doublers wasn't Tome of Decay by any chance, was it?

Well I have been charged VAT, incorrectly and at around 15% for some unknown reason (it should have been 20%).

HMRC have proven to be a complete pain in the arse to deal with so I will probably end up paying it and the associated 'handling' fee from the delivery company.

Still cheaper than Ebay at least.

Man, I'm glad my ancestors threw some tea in the harbor. I don't pay any kind of tax for any kind of overseas or out-of-state purchase, ever.

what did you order some of the WHFB supplements are boxed sets rather than just books (and so, sadly, aren't zero rated) unlike the 40K RPG stuff

Got my orders just before Christmas. 5 Dark Heresy Books and Black Crusade for $45!

I have one issue though. My Black Crusade book has very messed up binding. I'm afraid it's going to fall apart in less than 6 months. Does anyone know if this is common for this book? I don't see any issues with the DH books.

Would it even be worth contacting them? They are sold out of the book now anyway. I feel like it may just be best to suck it up and be happy I got it for $5...

It never hurts to ask. Just send them a polite letter with an attached photo of the binding issue and see what they say. If there's nothing they can do, then you're just back where you started. If they have a few copies in reserve for mispacks or lost shipments, then you might just get a better copy.
