Guardians are not in boxes of 5 though?

I imagine Sisters plastics will be 10 to a box

Hopefully 10 helmets. Do we know what price the canoness will be in GBP?

There may be basic sisters in boxes of 10... if they do that, the base squad size will go up to 10. If that is the case, they will have a 5 person veteran sister box with more special and heavy weapons,
Or... Sisters will have the Grey Knight treatment. One 5 person box that makes almost everything. That would need to include 2 or each special and heavy weapon.

Grey Knights are an aberration. Every other recently released plastic Troops box has been 10 man units. I'm sure a plastic SOB box will be 10 also.

Now a rebox of metal models could be anything.

It is 10am local time though it sometimes goes up a little early. Products usually go up at 10am in each country.

Well that would explain why we in North America in the EST get it at 1pm because it's 10am on the west coast then. Finally got my explanation. Thanks for that.

The Pilgrym was a seven month collaborative project undertaken by friends from around the world. These beautifully detailed miniatures and 4×4 foot gaming board all embrace John Blanche's unique painting style, carry the touch of their individual creators, yet also pull into one cohesive display together.

On show: December 3rd – February 26th inclusive — at Games Workshop: Warhammer World.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Deathwatch Kill Team boxes come in 5 man size, too.

I'd say they'll come in 5 woman sized boxes with maybe an 2x5 "10 sisters" box. Each box of 5 will have one of each special weapon plus a set of melee weapons, so you'll have to grab 2 boxes to make 2 usable squads. Can't let you get away with just buying one box for an allied detachment ;-)
And I really don't expect them to rerelease metal models.

I think we're getting way ahead of ourselves here.

Sisters models have dropped off on several occasions, always stirring up new rumours and wishlisting and always reappearing after a week or so, exactly like they were.

As great as a plastic battle sisters box would be (effectively covering more than half of the Sororitas infantry choices in one go) them dropping off the store has historically not represented a pending plastic apocalypse.

We already know plastic Sisters of Battle are coming. GW has flat out said so. We just don't know when.

Will we get a plastic box of sisters with the Imperial Agents release? Signs say no.
I really wonder why. It would have been relatively easy to shuffle resources around to make a box of 5 sisters ready for release. I know that releasing this resin cast is different in terms of logistics than releasing a plastic box, but we are talking something that must have been in the planning when Roundtree took over GW. This Cannoness release really feels rushed and out of step... similarly to the new Blood Angel Character released a while ago.

There have been several statements by GW that there are no other models than the Canoness for this codex release?

Hopefully the Canoness will immediately sell out and have lots of pre-orders - anything to help the case for selling Sisters models.

Well, on the 10th of October plastic sisters weren't going to be released for "months yet" - it's not much of a surprise they aren't being released with this codex.

There hasn't been anything directly from GW. Some of the rumor sources have said that though. It is a bit of a bitter pill, because so much of the Inquisition needs new models. Grey Knights and Deathwatch look so good... metal and Finecast Sisters and Inquisition units look so old in comparison.

You would have a point except for your expectation that GW will give any shelf space to sisters

So does that mean they'll be like Legos, where for no reason at all the "girl" boxes have "feminine corners" and all the box art is pink?

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

I´m sorry, but GW has said that there won´t be any new miniatures with the C:IA, here:

"This book isn’t accompanying a new range of miniature, but we couldn’t let the release of a new book containing so many awesome sub-factions under the Imperial aegis pass without some sort of model to mark the occasion."

This book isn’t accompanying a new range of miniature but we couldn’t let the release of a new book containing so many awesome sub-factions under the Imperial aegis pass without some sort of model to mark the occasion. So, our Studio Team set sculptor Martin Footit the task of creating an iconic miniature to accompany the book – and he didn’t disappoint

Although GW said that all they said was there would not be a 'new range' of miniatures, something that can be widely interpreted if you wish.

Another thing I would like to mention is, how 'logical' would it be to release a new rulebook that includes formations or possibly the entire SOB codex....BUT there are no miniatures. Most of the tanks? Gone. Normal Sisters? Gone. Most characters/hq's/specials?Gone. Of course anything is possible, but I doubt GW would give us rules for non-existent products. Can you imagine the costumer support? "Yeah I am emailing you because I want to play formation X from the Imperial Agents book, but I cannot find the models on your website." . Or maybe I am just being dumb and it all makes perfect sense.

Gathering the Informations.

If we're going to play Super-Analysis: Dakka Edition...

The quote is specific to this book. There will be no new range of miniatures for this book.

As in, this quote is strictly referring to Codex: Imperial Agents. Since the book seems to be similar to the "Angels of Death" book or the Grand Alliance books from AoS. It brings things into a single, unified print medium at a reasonable price rather than people having to buy a bunch of supplement books to get the stuff they want.

The things we know that won't be updated or changed? Those are things tied to physical, print codices(Deathwatch, Grey Knights, Telepathica stuff is in IG, the Enginseer is in IG) or supplements that have been published with updated rules(Assassins).

Codex: Sisters of Battle and Inquisition are both digital books, and I would not be surprised to see them get an update to the eBooks until they get to the release timeframe they want.

Context matters, but this whole thing is kind of a tempest in a teapot.

Sisters models wouldn't come with this book anyway.

They would come with Codex : Adeptes Sororitas

Which all signs point to January.

Exactly. It would have made more sense for Inquisition to receive models. But the fact Sisters didn't get models with this release does not mean they aren't getting models in the future.

Amusing historical note. GW Rumored Plastic SOB in 2001.

"CODEX SISTER OF BATTLE: Codex Sisters of Battle will be released in Spring 2002, and is written by Gav Thorpe and Pete Haines.
The army is intended to be expanded beyond the pure Sisters list in 40K to include Martyrs, Redemptionists, Archo-flagellants etc. for more of a Crusade feel. We're also hoping to do a box of plastic Sisters."
