In order to enact Rule #1 we need to lure a SoB player out into the open.

Let me handle this.

Sisters of Battle are fine. They do not need a model update or rules updates. Their range has had a constant aesthetic for the past 13 years in terms of appearance and rules, something many other armies would kill for.

P.S. That's paraphrased from a Sisters player in another thread too.

I don't see Casval making wild predictions. If someobody is going to come on and make predcitons with no track record then we are all going to be highly sceptical and rightly so, there are too many fools like BoLS and Faet spreading rubbish in this hobby as it is.

But if you want to believe everybody that comes along and says things thats fine, I've got a long weight I can sell you.

Having some fresh scuttle butt, she's an optional construction variant in the seraphim box. And would be coming along with two other kits, one being a basic troops/elite?(Not sure what the second option was) multi-box and the other I've got no clue, but it's supposed to be another sisters box. All out by end of January.

Source? Or is this from you?

Complain at me the end of January if I'm wrong. Reasonably confident in the source and no it's not the usual suspects of wild speculation.

Better time frame than most of these things at the very least.

That said, they seemed to consider her being part of the kit to be cool because it means you can customize a hero, which is pretty rare. And I'm going to guess either it's going to be a very painful 3 model kit to buy, or they just showed us three because it looks good in a picture.

Many posts and a long membership history on the site.

It's doesn't make his information better, it significantly reduces the chances he's created an account specifically to post made up gak in order to mess with people. People are small minded and juvenile enough to do this, and this is why one should always view new accounts with low post numbers skeptically when it comes to posting rumours.

Not at all, I totally understand that...I kinda like both though...the new plastics are technically better, but then a lot of those old metals just have so much more character to them (mostly referring to orks and assorted chaos/space marines here, as that's what I have...though I have always liked those old SoB models too )

I find it odd people are making wild random predictions for January when the January white dwarf is already leaked and there are NO sisters of battle plastic troops in it. I guess it's possible the last weekend preorder in January might have something but ya wild new model speculations are probably not coming in January. The way white dwarf works we have the last week of December preorder, AoS tzetch, cadia gate book and 4 known character models, and dark eldar box game. The last preorder on January goes in the feberuary white dwarf.

Regarding character of old metal models. I been playing this game to long and I do not like metal anymore. Carrying an army bag full of metal sucks. The models were to stiff and hard to model or swap heads, arms, weapons, etc. even magnets are hard to work because the appendages are so heavy. Finally while some sculptors were great most of the old metal models were to goofy looking and completely out of scale for a heroic model game.

The cover of the White Dwarf seems to be Abaddon in plastic form.

It's also worth mentioning that what's in White Dwarf hasn't necessarily been everything for a month's release.

Abaddon? The white dwarf cover leak showed his top not on the cover. Considering every white dwarf has featured models not illusttations I'm pretty confident he's coming soon.

We don't see Abbadon and he's supposedly in Jan. While I don't think there is much more.
We don't know if there's more builds on the Celestine kit.

Metal was *way* easier to transport because things fit into simple foam. Much easier to carry one case that weighs a few pounds than it is to carry the oversized cases necessary to include all the crazy poses they do for plastics these days.

My thoughts exactly. I like Ad Mech, but I don't need the whole "Yo dawg, I heard you like clamps with your cogs..." treatment.

I love it. It's exactly how I imagine an ancient Magos would look. I imagine that he started out with 2 arms and ran into a situation where his hands were full, but he wanted to pick up his mug of tea. Boom. Install a third arm. A week later, his three arms were full and he wanted tea. Boom. Install a 4th arm. This dude is OLD. He likes tea. That's why he has a hundred arms.

You can tell the age of a Magos by the number of arms? lol.

I think that was probably the reason GW started making their cases with the zigzag foam.

Not much use for people like me with 2nd Ed metal IG armies but designed for all the upcoming dynamic models.

I find the cases are bigger because the models are bigger, Not because of crazy poses. Also comparing army lists back in second and 3rd editionwe had much smaller armies however i played steel legion and Orks and no matter which army I still had to carry over 100 metal minatures that weight a fukton and was a pain To carry.

There. It came out of a Spanish site and it cuts it off, but the topknot is distinctive to Abbadabbadoobadon.

Looks like the Abaddon Art work from the cover of Fall of Cadia, not a plastic figure.
