SoS are thinner and slightly more androgynous, sisters slightly more curvaceous but no model is thin or fat. I think they did a good job. The models have 2 slightly different kind of female body type, feminine but not sexualised, and believable for warriors. I think you should rethink your concept of what a fat woman is.

Generic characters disappearing? Elite units of your army losing options and customizations? No longer finding that motivation to convert?

Has there been any leaks about Celestine's rules yet? I honestly can't be bothered trolling over all the nonsense that this thread has devolved into to try and find out.

I hope she and her angels are a mini detachment I can slot in to save my poor WarCon. I can't imagine GW will make such a big bucks plastic release like that and force you into buying a metal army to play it. I predict there will be a Sister's of Silence style mini detachment to slot her in.

I've got no idea of the accuracy of any of this but from what I hear the next couple of months of GW's release schedule looks something like this:
Fall of Cadia releases.
Tzeent AoS stuff.
bolter-sisters (hopefully a multi use plastic kit for bolters/special/heavy weapons)
steam dwarves AoS stuff.
So maybe march/april for plastic sisters, but it looks like we are to get our releases in drips and drabs
Although I hear that 8th is to be around that time too. I can't say anything for the actual rule set, aparantly it brings a new game type. There'll be the current Unbound and the current battle-forged, but also a new tournament style format that's easier to pick up and play (it sounds contradictory to me). Something that does away with formations and the general bloat of stacking special rules upon special rules but should make it easier to balance.
As i said before though, i've got no idea of the accuracy of any of this.

Indeed, that appears to be the case. Apparently having hips makes a woman fat. And people wonder why this hobby has almost no women taking part in it.
The Inquisitor appears to share much of the physique of Celestine. Perhaps the GW sculptors actually took a look at how muscle tends to form on a female frame.
I am happy with the sculpts. I don't play Sisters, but I am definitely getting the Inquisitor and more than likely Celestine (especially if she will have a formation that lets me attach her to my Deathwatch or Crimson Fists). Those models looks fantastic.

From what i heard, 8th is coming out early in the 2nd Quarter of the year, no idea on rules though. Im just waiting patiently for my plastic Dominions as ive got 4k of Metal Sisters, and they are going nowhere. casvalremdeikun wrote: Indeed, that appears to be the case. I will be getting that Inqquisitrix too cuz i need another Inquisitor and she looks neat.

Has anyone been able to make out any more of Cawls rules? Others are starting to report his points may be 295 opposed to 495, and he doesn't appear to have an expanded FNP line (4+,3+, etc) so it may be a base FNP.
You do if you used advanced mockery.

At the risk of going back on topic, I just came to say how excited I am about Celestine and Cawl. I'm in two minds about Greyfax, but that may be because I'd rather a new female Inquisitor model be a certain Ordo Xenos member from 5th ed GK, rather than Lady Van Helsing. But I'll probably get her and give her a head swap, maybe convert her weapons.

Celestine definitely will need a different head, IMO. Not a fan of her sculpted one.
Greyfax and Cawl are perfect beyond words. If anything, I wish Cawl was even bigger and busier but he'll be enough of a nightmare as he stands, so it will suffice.

Greyfax looks great. If it has alternative bits to put on there it would be a must buy. Imagine a kit with alternative bittlies to make all the various Xenos, Hereticus, and other inquisitors. Still probably going to buy her if her rules are good and she can work as a sloppy Culexusus.

why would you people do that???
why, for the love of God, would you want to get back on topic???
hahahahaha
i am a big fan of all three of these leaked kits...
Cawl will be painted in a darker scheme, since i just did the vibrant red on the Magos model...
Celestine and her girls look good in gold...
i look forward to recreating the studio scheme with some deeper shadows, and a little more color variation in thoes shadows...
Greyfax is a Steve Buddle sculpt, and i have been a big fan of supporting his work since he was producing his own stuff, through his Spyglass miniature range...
besides, i dig the Lady Von Hellsing vibe, and i like "combat heels"
January is going to be a good month!!!
cheers

I just think it's great we're getting the female version of the Witch Hunter style Inquisitor.
Now if only we could get that for the Ordo Malleus and fething anything for the Ordo Xenos, I'd be happy.

I am still using the new Inquisitor as an Ordo Xenos. The Condemnor Boltgun is a very small hurdle to get over. The model is too cool to let something like that get in the way. I only really have reason to use Ordo Xenos since I only have Deathwatch.

any style of Inquisitor is always welcome...
they have been some of the most characterful miniatures in the Imperial range for decades...
not only that, but Inq28 is the most interesting thing going on in the 40K community right now
an Ordo Malleus dude would be a good excuse for a badass Termie kit, too...
Ordo Xenos could have some interesting armor and weapons, as well...
i'll tell the boys to get right on that

Jetbikes have been mentioned on BGG. Don't know where they got their info but if it's jetbikes/bikes seems like a tiny Gorechosen/Death Arena set up wouldn't work.

After all these years, I didn't expect they'd ever look this good. Especially after that Blanchian horror, I was getting rather anxious about how they'd be, but goodness, they're wonderful! That deconstruction especially impresses me, because they're right - the models were actually designed with proper fit-bulk in mind. Now we just need to see their helmets.

Looks to be an educated guess based on leaks we've seen. I'd say the order is pretty accurate, but the timetable is likely off. I'm thinking Fall of Cadia will be one week and then we'll head into Tzeentch. I would expect plastic sister by late February if that list is at all accurate.

Tzeentch is a multi-week release. I guess January is 1 week Cadia and 3 weeks Tzeentch.
The Eldar game could be further off, we had a preview of Gorechosen in the WD a month before release.

The time for the timetable is speculation on my part.
The source for the order is Atia.
The source for 8th is a 'friend of a friend'.
What I will say is that FLGS have already got emails about what items are available to pre order for January and February (and possibly March). I've personally managed to get a glance at Jan and feb from a few feet distance. I can't say what's on the lists other than a vague chaos stuff in January, but can say they are both pretty full on months, atleast a dozen items each.
