I, personally, hope 8th comes soon. If FoC was started for 7th edition, delayed, and had to be rewritten for 8th, that's actually a reasonable excuse for this wait.

If they release a book designed for 7th edition about a month before 8th is about to drop, I'd be even more annoyed about that than I am about the book being delayed for a year.

Oh, of course, I won't murder anyone if Fires isn't released within a certain time frame, and I'm hardly averse to waiting. It could be said that FW, I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed.

That one is not the WHW head. I believe they said it wasn't planned for production anymore, but never know when it might pop up.

That actually gives us hope, because 1/3 of FoC is allowing us to take 30k units in 40k. And there's Space Marines in FoC, so hopefully that makes FW consider working on it more.
