I'm actually worried about that for our doubles games. I've played like 4 games since I moved almost 2 years ago.

Battery.. Got 2 new ones. Didn't want to have this issue at Adepticon. Cost me a good sum but at least this happened now not at the convention.

WBD... Thanks. Just a little ways to go. Got to find a way to pack this. My ordered carrying cases were to small.

On the purchasing front. I got some Apoc templates from a vendor in Canada. Really nice and in red. This way I'll be able to identify mine from all the GW green ones. Accurate too. I measured them against the GW specs and am pleased to say they are right on.

FINISHED PAINTING! Not bad for 36 days


Yes... Last night finished the Land Raider. So technically I'm done painting with what I'm bringing to Adepticon. Still will probably do the 2nd land Raider and an additional Drop pod, but this army has plenty of options for the dedicated transport slots. What this army is missing is a Dread drop pod and a flyer.

Sorry for the blurry Camera shots. I didn't have a lot of time in the wee early morning hrs to set up.

I'll have to rig up the upper hatch mount with the HB. Hummmm.
New Praetor and Standard Bearer

Next I'll try to get transfers on all the figures, especially the infantry. Lastly I'll need to base them all. Luckily I'm planning something simple. Drying time will be an issues but with the weekend I might be able to get it done.

If time permits I'd like to try some sponge weathering both for armor chips and maybe a bit of blood. I'll alos try taking some actual camera pics. My cell phone camera just isn't doing them justice.

Fantastic SL, they look great! I like the blur/glow... gives them that otherworldly aura.

How did you paint so much to this standard in only two months? I must know.

Because he's freaking amazing. I've got a little pile of EC that I'm probably not going to get done in time... and that's a drop in the bucket compared to what SL has done.

Thanks...36 days actually... Mostly planning everything out. Buying, assembling, priming and basing all happened for just about all the models at the same phase. So it was mostly boring but keeping on track was essential to meeting the deadline of Adepticon. So I had to do whatever it took. Oh and I have a very understanding wife. Winter Helped.. not much to do on the farm. It won't win any awards but it's all very uniform and at the same standard. I'm pretty happy how they came out and was excited to try some new techniques for making 'dirtier' looking Marines.

They'll pass as tabletop but what matters is if Gunther like them. Hopefully the Wardens will give him an opportunity to play a few games with him. Got him the big GW hard case to pack it all.

Thanks, but your rep for having the best painted is gonna insure you take your EC to a higher standard ( Oh and purple! Damn nice!). I'm looking forward to seeing all the 30K stuff on the table.

This army isn't for me it's a gift for a buddy of mine. I'm hoping he gets in some good games at Adepticon .

Finished adding the transfers and Basing last night. So only thing left to do is pack this up and wait for Adepticon..

Dreads.. The Normal Contemptor has the option to swap out the AC for a MM.. Both the siege Dreads arms are magnitized in case he wants to swap out weapons at a later date.

When I looked before you didn't have the pics uploaded. Dudes look good.

I think my favorite is the jet bikes. I could see me owning one. Going to work. Hunting small game. Chasing those neighbor kids off my lawn. ect.

Got my new cases in Last night. Decided to go with the GW large case as it was something I was assured to get fast and before Adepticon. Got one for the Reaver Titan ( fits nicely ) and one for the 5 Imperial Knights. ( should have room to spare )

I'll need to have a decent army of Lamenters so Hopefully I'll get time to do some army lists. Either way I'll probably take a bunch of additional stuff so I can adjust my list for pick up games or to lend out to folks if they need to increase there pts.
Probably won't bring my Necrons, though a match up with ( with or against ) Thing one would be fun.
Looking forward to Playing as many Wardens as possible.

Could you please post a pic of your knights in the case. I really need to figure out a good transport system for mine and would like to see how yours looks before committing to a purchase. Thanks.

I'll try tonight, but unless you expedite shipping you won't get this in time now. GW says 6 day delivery. There might be one at the FLGS.

I believe these cases will work and I might have room for extras,, not sure though. Still have 2 Big BF ones with 3 add packs. You probably are using everything if you bring all stuff you said you were bringing + Things Necrons.

I know there are some cases available locally, and we do have a GW store in town now which increases the odds.

Finished the bases on the Terminators, Fixed the smudge and packed these guys in their new case(s). One GW case wasn't enough. Had to use the small one as well.

Reaver Packed in it's own case. Working on basing 3 of my Knights, something simple, then they get packed in the last case.

All that is left is to write up some lists and pack those Lamenters. I'll be bringing way more than my list in case I wanna change things around for pick up games.
