That looks really cool, Drummernathan! I love the contrast between the greens and orange/copper and the blue spot colour really pops. Great job!
CREEEEED! - your diorama rocks. Really evokes the story and atmosphere....and that moustache! That's gotta be worth half a dozen votes just on its own...
...keezus, you always rock some really interesting miniatures - I look forward to seeing this one...

Anyhow, here is my finished entry for the month.
The brutal, mutated chaos ogre staved off by the brutal ice spell of the goblin shaman...well, that's my fluff, anyways....
I'm not particularly happy with the photos - I really found it hard to get all of the diorama in focus and the light just seemed to hate the mix of warm and cool colours. However, I am mostly happy with the Mexican stand-off between the large chaos ogre and the tiny goblin shaman. Hopefully, I uploaded the photos right this time.

Thanks man!! I'm a huge fan of olive green and copper contrast myself, so that's what I wine twitch for my death Guard scheme! I think it works well! I'm also very proud of how the "smoke" came out on this guy, wasn't sure at first but the more I look at it, the better it looks!

Still NOT finished, but going to be taking a small break for a few hours.

Basically I still have to get the base shaded and drybrushed the way I want it, touch up a few things here and there, and then attempt the lightning on the axe. yea... "that's all!"

I have a Nikon D3200 DSLR and I'm still trying to catch the best pictures I can...they don't seem to be cutting it. I'm going to do a bit more trial and error to improve my picture quality for the finished post.

Speaking of finished post, I should be posting it up later to finally be done...just had to post this now since I gotta run and I've been in the zone on this duuuude. Chuggin away at it, love it.

Maybe the base could become like the edge of a fighting circle he's standing in or something. Like a ring of rope that combatants fight to get eachother out of type thing. Could also be a bit of a spin on a circus type thing too.

Just a thought. Looks awesome, though!

Lots of very nice entries shaping up here! OP all up to date.

As for my own, I painted this guy two weeks ago but didn't get around to taking pics until earlier! Presenting Tylus Roke, captain of the Flesh Tearers 6th Company. I wanted to capture the duality of the Blood Angels and Flesh Tearers in particular, hence the somewhat symmetrical pose with the brutal and bloody chainsword on the one hand and the sleek, glowing power weapon in the other.

Any thoughts welcome!

I really love the idea that you explained and executed it really well, in my opinion.

It's a nice play into a world that is pretty cool within the faction as a whole. The sort of this vs. that type scenario. I wouldn't say a good vs. bad side, more of a .. I know I'm bad but I function vs. There'S NO HOPE for me so let's go out TEARIN'

Eh, kind of got it somewhat presentable... White color is a bitch to paint. Wanted to give him something different to ride on, and even tho he looks weird on top of a cold one I like it.
