Blood for the Leather god!!! Tuxido trousers for his throne!!!
Looking at the new figures, the Ork weapons are dead on for them. Axes and Swords, shotguns, and Bolt pistols get extra mention.
Problem I have is that the old gangers are smaller. One issue I see might be the Juves... The old Juves look like babies next to the new guys.
Make sure you double down and buy at least 2 boxes of these.

yes. they fit nicely.

The scale creep of the figures is at least 2 mm and the figures are more robust, thickness wise.
I am using AOS Blood reavers as a comparison, ant they are large enough to stand open legged on a 32mm base, as opposed to when the figures stood open legged on a 25mm base.
(In the pictures, look at the feet placement, the weapons, and the heads.)
Goliath 32mm base-
Esher on 25mm base, but a more robust figure compared to the old Eshers.

OLDER Goliaths and Eshers both on 25mm bases
In addition, my new AOS Bloodreavers are a few mm to head, larger by girth then a old goliath. the leader is as tall as a plastic ogre model.
These new Necro guys seem bulkier.
Here is the GW link.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/08/31/a-closer-look-at-necromundagw-homepage-post-2/
I am also using sector mechanicus bases, they are 32mm.
BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT- THESE FIGURES ARE SLIGHTLY LARGER, BY THE PICTURE.
These are only the first 2 gangs.

With only 20 figures and card terrain it can't be over $100...that'll be a sack of crap, so I think it's a safe bet it's around the $95-100 mark.

I would of hoped something closer to the $70 CAD Gangs of Commorragh would be more of a sweet spot for me, but could see them doing the $119 CAD blood bowl price point.

Honnestly I was hoping for an interesting terrain bundle. Fortunately I could buy the armageddon starter box in extremis lol. I never bought the original necromunda starter box but I own 3 gangs : delaque, esher, goliath. For what I see of the actual mini I am not totally sold to the new ones and they won feel well with my old models, so I am very happy with my old ones. I am really not sure this starter box would be a win to me. As a collectionist I was always tempted with two other gangs : scavvy and ratskin, both of which have ramped up prices on ebay to insane levels. Maybe if GW release new plastic ones, there will be some opportunities to buy the metal models... Still, it is the first time I am not sure if a starter box is worth it, and we are speaking about necromunda here. It is so sad I did not bought the original when I was 15... Automatically Appended Next Post: reluxor wrote:Is it plausible the new necromunda will be 65 pounds as is the actual blood bowl ?
I really feel like starter will be 65±5 pounds, while the gangs box will be 20 to 25 pounds. Based on blood bowl.
Sorry for people who do not feel the same but the new plastic models are superb for conversion and multipart kit, but they feel a bit plain to me, some lack of personality. This new cartoonish style feels very bad with the necromunda set. It is a detail but genetically modified goliath is goofy. Good old chemical steroid was enough.

Not in a million years. SWA, and the Horus Heresy boxed games were that price with 2-3x as much content. This is 20 figures w/ card terrain...it'll be $100 or less. If not, it'll fail spectacularly.

They are nice - problem is you get three GW containers + a load of useful scatter terrain for ~50% more at an online discounter compared to two Makitainers. So they honestly don't feel like good value in comparison.

I'm a bit fuzzy on the timeline, but I think the proposed bundles were leaked before Shadow War Armageddon was announced. It's possible (even likely) that Sector Imperialis bundles are planned to exist, but couldn't be admitted to at the time. New GW would have to be as dumb as Old GW to miss this opportunity.

How much in USD do you think It would take to fill a 4x4 with enough GW terrain for Necromunda? I've not seen much GW terrain first hand. I do like the board game style releases but I don't think necromunda is a good choice for that style of treatment. I'm dreading the prices just in general.
Anybody got a source/summary on the bundle talk? I don't remember that rumor.

Well, I hope (I guess you're talking about the Sector Mechanicus - the only fitting building from Sector Imperialis is the Manufactorum).
Mmh, I just noticed they don't have the Goblin Town multi pack anymore - it would make a nice contrast to the industrial stuff... (while still expensive in no way I'm paying 45€ for just the single kit).
