I'll likely buy several boxes, I own multiples of everything oathmark has out so far for my middle earth project.

But this is the first of their kits where I think the art outshines what's on offer in the kit. The two handed weapons are not as vicious looking as what was on offer in the original orc kit.

I thought from the box art we'd see a selection of big two handed axes. A little disappointing, but more bits to use with their other kits is always welcome.

I really like them! I will definitely get a box for Uruk Hai. Don't like the Jackson designs but these are pretty spot on imo.

Same with the revenant leader throwing a javelin and wearing a cape in the box art

They're alright. I assume the faces are sculpted better than the paintjob shows, as usual. Still unsure why North Star insists on paintjobs that obscure detail.

I've gotta admit I'm disappointed. All the 2H weapons at the same exact angle is pretty disappointing and makes them look like monopose plastic WHF from the early 2000s. Many the hand weapons choices appear to be basically the same pose as well, and most bodies seem to be the same left foot forward pose.

Likely some useful bits. Really wish they had some more enclosed helmets

Agree on the paint jobs, North Star seems to like paintjobs that exaggerate the already slightly exaggerated proportions even further.

I think exactly the same. Anyway I'll buy some boxes for sure.

Nice choice of weapons and heads. Will be great for kitbashing.

There's an awful lot of loose weapons on that sprue. I assume that if you want to convert models armed with dual hand weapons?

Yeah, they could be useful for that or simply as additional weapons hanging on belts etc.

That sprue looks very useful for kitbashing. Nice work Oathmark!

North Star continues to make my favourite kits. Definitely a box of those in my future to make the half orc axemen that killed Theodred at the Fords of Isen.

I like these. Some nice maces in there. The shields are a bit bland and it's a shame that all two-handed weapons are held right at the blade, but other than that, great kit. I'll get all Oathmark O&G sets together and look what comes out of it.

A rich and well conceived sprue, as usual.

Could certainly have benefited from more variation in poses for the two-handed weapons (even more when considering those are far more tricky to repose than one-handed ones), though the weapons themselves look better on the sprue than from the angle on the painted figures, and the extra bits will be welcome for more options with the pretty excellent prior orc kit.

Love their sprue layouts and bits breakdown. Can't wait to see what they do with the elf heavy infantry.

You should look into Wargame's Atlantic plastic ogre's if you want a more imperial look.

They can't count any higher, so they cut the extras off.

Because they couldn’t hold the knife in a four toed foot to cut the fifth finger off….duh!

The problem number isn't five, it's nineteen.

They used to cut both toes off the same foot, until an ogre officer noticed the regiments were all slowly veering off to one side on the march. He was an ogre genius, so he established the tradition of cutting one toe off each foot to balance them out.
