MM sale. per usual black Friday sale is trash. They usually do a good spring sale, but their blackfriday is a bunch of old junk. Even the batman stuff isn't as good as they are moving over to resin and better sculpting.

Did an order to fill out some holes. An FYI the Gorilla Grodd crew is already in resin, so you won't be seeing it get any cheaper most likely.

Cheapest I have seen Gorilla Grodd. I had to round out my Batman collection as they retired a lot of models. I like having selection even though I will admit the new models are nicer.

Urgh damnit I didnt realise that stuff in the Wayland sale was only going to be on sale for part of the week. Most of the items I added to my wish list to buy today have gone back to their normal price.

That Mantic sale looks interesting on Friday - will have to remember to check every hour and see if any Walking Dead items show up.

Mighty Ape are one of my standard go-tos these days. Not always the cheapest, but next day delivery is handy.

are the £25 boxes worth it? It seems to say that I might be unlucky and just get a rulebook, instead of some figures/scenery which I'd prefer.

Crazy boxes usually give double their cost in bits and pieces so you'd get more than a rulebook but what you do get is totally random unless they have a lot of something to get rid off previous boxes nearly all had Battlezone accessory sprues or the 45 degree extension sprue as they had over stocks. If they are doing deals on 100 Marauders I suspect they have a lot to get rid of!

If you have a lot of Mantic stuff already they probably aren't worth it if you're starting out they are. I don't buy them anymore as I have most stuff and the crazy box bits just ended up as conversion bits.

I don't need them but 80 Enforcers for £40 is tempting

its definitely a good deal. If you have not joined their email notification system then do that and they give first time joiners a 15% off coupon for first order. Depending on which army you are leaning towards, you could also snag the main starter, kar’a nine and the army box and be pretty well set. Just need tanks after that.

It really varies. I tried this for the first time last year, buying the fantasy one, and didn't feel it was worth it (most of it was Dungeon Saga which I don't want, like or need). Previous years seem to have been decent, but like I said it just varies. Seems they do use it largely to get rid of some things that aren't selling or are otherwise overstocked.

The Mantic boxes would be more appealing if their ranges weren't so hit-and-miss. There are a few kits that I really like, and a bunch of stuff that I really, really don't... so the random aspect is not particularly appealing.

In NZ and I presume OZ there are a bunch more deals going live on Friday (they are accessible now if you are a subscriber) picked up a couple of Warlord British Crusader Cruiser tanks at $28 each and an armoured car at $18!

Yes, my link was to the hobby one, but they're having sales across all their departments.

It's where I did my Newcromunda pre-order, but also picked up an Ironjawz Weirdmob because it's a decent value box that is now a further AUD$25 off. It costs as much as the Brutes box would normally cost, plus you get 5 Black Orcs and the Shaman model I like.
