80 quid for the Sector Imperialis...the box art doesn't really reveal what's inside. Could just be triple Administratum, I don't see any tell-tale parts from the other kits.

Would be amazing if they did some kind of Titanicus bundle with Rievers, Warhounds and Warlord(s). Or just bring back the AT GM edition back.

That would be nice though for me it would be hard to compete with buying individuals from 3rd party uk stores.

These Battleforces are usually available to 3rd party retailers as well, so you would still get that nice 15-25% off the bundle.

Which is why they are good for uk folk but these invariably go for high postage(vs free with solo boxes). No postage if i buy from finland but hard to compete with double discount rate and pound exchange rate.

But this is specific issue with non-uk folks. I just have found discount boxes not work out as such a nice deal with these. (For example gme at at 10% of here still loses buying individually from uk 3rd party'

But wouldn’t buying these bundle boxes from UK third party be an option? As opposed to a store in EU?
If the weight is the same near enough, or do they actually charge more for the box when they wouldn’t if you put it all in basket?

In shops like Wayland, big items that are marked as 'Bulky' aren't eligible for the free shipping when spending more than X amount. Depending on the box that sometimes evens out the additional discount.

Many stores send stuff for free if order is more than X£. HOWEVER some products are then classed as "heavy" etc which do not fall into the category. So I can order 2xwarlord titan, 2xknights, ruleset(well actually this one often counts as heavy but let's say it didn't...), terrain etc separately and have them sent shipment free. However grand master edition box with same stuff itself is "heavy" so adds up like 20£ postage charge.

Why this way I have no idea but well...It is what it is. In practice this means I need to always double check prices which way it is better. Generally discount boxes end up very marginal saving if at all due to postage in case from UK or pound rate and 10% discount vs 15-20% if buying discount boxes from Finland.

Crazy but that's what it is. Still would be cool to have AT box with say warlord, 2 reaver, 2 warhounds for discounted box as odds of it being cheaper would be still better than no box. But it's not quaranteed to be cheapest option for non-UK with present postage prices.

My recent experience with Wayland has been that Royal Mail only manages to ship your parcel properly on a 5+, with 6's generating a second parcel that might or might not reach you.
Not Wayland Games' fault (their service team has been very helpful), but since you can't chose the courier service for your order, I switched to stores not based in the UK so I no longer have to put up with Royal Mail anymore.

Element Games typically has 20% off on GW pre-orders and 15% off after release, and will ship these at their usual international rate starting at about 4 GBP and capping at 7 GBP no matter how much you buy. I ordered the Kill Team starter and two Kill Zones which are super heavy because of all the printed materials and it was still just 7 GBP shipping.

Can attest to that "hey, it's super chea...oh, bulky, nervermind" experience.

The Ork release has me eyeing the Kult of Speed box again, but when Wayland had it in stock until recently the postage made it as expensive as buying it from my local store with 10% off. And Adding the content together shipping free from Wayland gets me basically the same price when leaving out the SAG Mek who is webstore exclusive that skews it. That of course really makes you think about the box, like, do I need ten more boyz? More bikes after Speed Freeks and their still not that killer rules?

And now that my local store doesn't give 10% on this box anymore (yeah, wut? Hoping to get your non-moving product out when a new codex hits by making it more expensive than before?) I think I'll buy piece meal instead of BF. Which is somehow not that exciting, unwrapping that huge Ironjawz box under the tree was really satisfying.

The Idoneth box doesn't entice me, least exciting hero, basically highlights how relatively expensive everything included is, etc.. Same for Death Guard, I still need a crawler and proper drone kit to re-arm cheapo drones, but more termis and at that price? No. I really whish we'd get Conquest here, though. Let's make it cheaper for your cheapest market, though

No, Royal Mail fails to deliver independently from whether you order from Wayland Games or other vendors.

You have the same issues for any store, including auctions from ebay, amazon and GW themselves.

I wonder why? Domestically, I'd take Royal Mail over any of the other courier services. They were all originally set up to offer business-to-business services and still aren't really useful for domestic deliveries - only delivering during working hours, not having easily-accessible depots for collection. Ebay is OK - they have deals with several chains of shops so I can collect from a variety of places, but if I'm expecting a delivery from DPD, it's a pain in the behind and Yodel? I might as well throw my money down a stank.

Yeah this is hilarious. I typically order new releases from Element Games who do free Royal Mail shipping on orders over £80. Whenever I order it gets dispatched on the Friday, and arrives on Saturday morning without fail.

Sounds like Wayland have a new favourite in their big bucket of excuses.

Those prices are all good and well, but as mentioned contents of the Imperial Sector is kind of hard to make out. It'll be good to get a clear idea as the box may come just at the right time for me.

Can confirm Jidmah's experience with Royal Mail. Numerous parcels over fifteen years, a single one managed to make it within the advertised 7-10 days. Many of them weren't even close. Often enough battered. One I had from Warlord Games had two big holes so you could see through the box.

I swear, they're taking these things to Dover and shoot them across the Channel with a catapult.

Royal Mail has singlehandedly managed to put me off buying from the UK, and even the currency decline after Brexit has not been so great an incentive that I gave in more than once or twice.

Oddly enough, as much as people (and I assume rightfully) complain about Wayland, I've never even once had any issues with them. Win some, lose some I guess.

Waylands main problem for most people is speed.
In the past their stock display on their website was also very iffy as to if something was or wasn't in stock, which could result in long waits for things that you might have thought were in stock, but were not,

These days they are a lot better on the stock front and their store is normally accurate on what is and isn't held directly by them. Speed can still be an issue, esp when an item is out of stock as sometimes it can take more than a week to get ordered in.

Essentially Wayland is the place you order from for the discount, but not the speed of delivery. Though my experiences are that this has improved a lot (esp with the clarity of stock held).

I'll also say that I've never had trouble contacting them to deal with customer support.

When I first ordered from Wayland Games about ten years ago, the average time till delivery was about four month, getting a parcel within two weeks is lightning fast in comparison

But seriously, I have no problems with their parcels when they are delivered via DHL or DPD, they get delivered within a week - though DPD often leaves me guessing to where they delivered the package. For example, the neighbor's lawn, thrown into a basement window, just left them lying the porch...

But for Royal Mail? Two packages gone forever, one turned up back at Wayland Games after FOUR MONTHS (they had already shipped a replacement delivery in the meantime), one was delivered after one month and looked like it was run over by a deffrolla, another one was soaked in water, even though it has not been raining in two days.
Best part? Tracking always ends at London Airport and they absolutely refuse to help you find your parcel unless you can provide them with an UK-based address. Their German partners cannot look into their systems, so they can't help you either.

If I could just select DHL for all my deliveries from Wayland Games, I wouldn't mind the time it takes to ship the order. But I can't so they won't be getting business from me until I can.

Don't even know why you'd order from them for the discount - Dark Sphere typically do as good or better(eg, 25% on most GW stuff) than other places and they're great.

As for people's woes with Royal Mail - hey, at least you eventually get your packages. I dread companies choosing to send me stuff via UPS, since they now make one single delivery attempt(ie, the guy brushes his hand over your buzzer and then legs it back to the van) and then dump your parcel at a "UPS Access Point"(ie, a newsagent) and demand you show government-issue photo ID to collect it.
