I absolutely love the scaling effect done on the LR. Gorgeous. Would look amazing on a tabletop. Makes me want to get the HH version for my guard army.

could be far more impressive actually in HH. Militia can form second line Russ squadrons up to the size of 5 / HS

Guard isn't technically in HH yet, you have first line Solar Aux which would be closer to stormtroopers and militia which is basically PDF/ Cults /paramilitary. Both armies are fun and have good builds but require a bit more knowledge about HH 2 to get to working. Overall if you got an itch that is closer to oldschool wargame warhammer it doesn't take much to pull over an IG army and run them as militia to get your feet wet.


Anways, Grey layered the dracosans with demolishers and started scaling.

Dracosans are looking very bling with the scales and gold trim!

Man, that's a lot of straight-line edge painting work! The result is worth the effort though- looking grand!

It's brass /copper. though the camera does make it look golden

no they are HH Basilisks on a leman chasis.

Amazing model. But at 200 pts it's a paper weight, but it looks great.

If you are playing guard...not enough tanks.

Increased piles of dark mech project there.

Bit of progress. Need to do the commanders shield a bit more and clear up the spilled colour on the brass and metal.

Afterwards. Well, let's just say i got a pile of dark mech .

There will be a group shot sometime this week.

Second- those tamks look great! The massed effect is really slick and the scaling effect looks really darn cool. Very well done.
