I like the new KoS quite a bit. The other models look okay, aside from some of their faces.

The Warcry models look good. I don't know if I'll be getting into it though.

I asked a question about Apocalypse whether they are going give factions that don't have many titanic more titanic models. They said yes, but they were not ready to give more information on it yet. There was a rumor few months back saying Apocalypse and every faction was going to get new titanic model. This is not exactly confirmation of the rumor but close

I'm definitely interested in the new Apocalypse. If they came out with new titanic units that would be pretty rad. Hopefully they would fix the way Macro works (if they even acknowledge it since that's a Forge World rule).

They say "to help you paint" implying that it will be a tool. I'm betting it will be an official GW airbrush.

Yeah, an airbrush seems like the logical choice

Can you imagine the cost of a GW airbrush....

Having said that, the 50 Shelves of Grey video was gold. I’m loving their humour these days.

Warcry getting non Chaos warbands so soon is surprising. The factions do seem fairly recognisable from the icons.(except the flaming skull, not sure about that one). I wonder if they will be new versions of existing stuff, or if Warcy will be used as a way to sneak in small range expansions? The regular Chaos warbands already seem to me like a stealth revamp of the Marauders.

New Apocalypse is a big "meh" so far for me. Especially the 40k movement trays. But the prospect of more big models for underserved factions is intriguing.

I suspect they'll use existing miniatures rather than new ones. It's a way of getting people into the game quickly using stuff they already own whilst we wait for the new warbands to trickle out.

Wowzers... The KoS is awesome.

Lots of good stuff in there, overall. Will be interesting to see what they've done with Apocalypse, although I'm expecting it to be eye-wateringly expensive, and it seems somewhat redundant to make an even more simplistic system for mass battles when that's already what they've done to 40K...

The AoS dwarves continue to be fantastic. I wish I had a reason to buy them.

Except 40k isn't even close to actually work as "big battle" rule. 40k is pittances skirmish in scale.

Though not sure what new rules can do about the core issue of 32mm scale models. Those just don't work for big battles. Titans at spitting distances rather than reasonable ranges, no room to manouver...Who has 18'x10' type of boards?

For the Fifty Shelves of Grey thing, could they do something as simple as give entire model ranges colored sprues?
Like all orks will now come in green plastic, so you technically can get away with not painting?

Do they? Last orks I bought(scrappajet and shockjump dragstas) came in grey...

Coloured plastics seems to be for battlebox specific kits.

What's the point of apoc in this edition (or the last one) when you already have rules for using superheavies in even small games? Will it be a Kill Team expansion?

To have rules that actually make it feel like BIG battles rather than 40k skirmishes? Hint you don't get that just by adding more models to the table. New ruleset is requirement so this is right step. Only issue left is model scale. To make sense you need then up the board sizes. And not just width but depth...

Maybe they'll have suggestions for table layouts that allow for access and/or rules for moving between tables?

One giant table is impractical, then how impractical would multiple tables be? Most people can't do either.

Clear plastic movement trays for Apocalypse eh? Interesting. They will certainly be a useful addition to the range even for smaller games, as ever though their viability will be cost dependant.

The KOS is amazing, have never really been a fan of Slaanesh but I forsee a boatload of amazing Golden Demon entries for that miniature.

If only they released rules for a suitable scale mass battle game, say something in the 6-8mm range... I was half hoping that would be announced at Adepticon but don't know if GW and FW are counted as one and the same in these instances.

Yeah, but most people don't have Apoc armies either do they?

Most big games I've played in have been lots of people with regular-sized armies and we just shoved our normal tables together. It seemed to work okay, and didn't seem all that impractical. I think it could be done better though.

The more I see the KoS, the more I love it.
I just hope there are a few more options in the kit,
especially a hand without a sword (with a /rod of command scepter)
but as it, gorgeous miniature.

For sure it was long. But Slaanesh rewards the faithfull...

It looks like there are a few more spells (?) and a big, big rune of a piece of
scenery from the video. Again superb stuff.

Now all I want is a release date (and may be a new credit card...)

Happy with the show, none-chaos involvement in Warcry gives me hope for running a highborn warband, of course, if the rules are good. I've hoped they'd preview the new terrain but no such thing.

Slaanesh has dub step as its theme. Fitting, most fitting selection.

It's kinda perfect, isn't it? I mean, especially with that second head it basically embodies everything about Slaanesh. It's alluring to look at at first glance, but as you keep looking you see the grotesquery of it all.

Exactly as it should be IMO.

The new KOS looks great. Very PG13 though, which is a shame.
Which is pretty much my opinion on all of the new Slaanesh models apart from the camp daemonettes with pigtails.

No real 40k news apart from the Slaanesh crossover units though? More battlezones 'at some undefined time in the future'. Right. Apoc?! Lol seriously GW if this is some BS excuse to try and force me to use only +your+ movement trays at competitive events I'm done.

Glad I didn't stay up for this. It would have been a waste for me.

3/10. No real, dedicated 40k news.

PG-13?

But yeah, the lack of 40K news other than Apoc and its dumb movement trays and a news that might as well have been "We promise to release things for 40K in the future!" for all the detail it gave us means this wasn't the greatest reveal for 40K.

Still, it should give us home for the Emperor's Children, something they've not had since 3.5 and the days of that blasted Siren spell.

KoS and a new DP/Herald are stunning.
But man, does the whole range look sterile.... Appart from fiends.
That I feared.
God of pleasure, decadence, excess, lust, passion and perfection.
All I see is the last part being implemented into slick design, armor and robes. I guess whips are there for everything else?
I really had hoped that somehow the magic of Diazanettes will return.
Again, the 2 models mentioned above are amazing, it`s just not very Slaanesh... More Cirque du Soleil.

The PG-13 models is probably for the best. Beside it won't take a much conversion to tart them up. Am I the only one getting a serious Bayonetta vibe from the endless spells? I just need a giant stiletto heel crashing down from the sky.
