They do look pretty cool, but how many different bodies will there be? So far I only see two.

Our next two box sets will be coming in late August/September depending on sailing schedules!

The Einherjar join the Death Fields circuit as worthy opponents to the Raumjäger and Les Grognards!

The Giant Spiders are "officially" part of the Classic Fantasy range, but they have a secret! There are parts inside to turn the big spiders into alien techno-bugs too which are perfect for the Death Fields!

note the UK price is meant to be £25 but the website seems to frequently glitch to £28 (it did this when I pre-ordered the wwi germans too) I eventually got it to behave by switching browsers and taking stuff in and out of the cart

Yup, just pre-ordered a box of the Dwarfs. Undecided whether they'll turn into a Necromunda gang, a small MEdge force, or the start of a 2nd edition Squat army... See how I feel once they're in hand, I guess.

Excited to have got my Grognards, Afghans and Raumjager delivered today,

so I can get creative with them and Cadian bits from Ebay, once they've has a chance to quarantine for 3 days (can't be too safe nowadays)

I’ll have to see how the energy weapons look, but so far this is too “historical” for my tastes.

Well, I guess my Grognard gunners will have to be modelled with a fromage selection to go with the bubbly.

Seriously though, this isn't bad. I'd love to see other heavy weapons. I'd also like to see the aesthetic for the other races heavy weapons. Kind of hoping the Space Germans have a 1980's vibe when it comes to heavy weapons. Bipods, RPG, automatic grenade launcher.

"Les Grognard Set 2 Now in Tooling

Coming in the next few months is a new set for the Les Grognards faction in Death Fields. This set will feature four large weapons on two types of carriage, new body types, new personal weapons and equipment, new command heads and female heads, and loads of extra bits to customize your troops.

These are some lower res 3D prints we used to test part fit and look/size to give you a hint at what's to come:

These are in engineering now for the sprue layout and once finalized will go directly into tooling This will be a full frame set with lots of parts and options and completely backwards compatible. There will be enough heads in the box to outfit them all with each type of headgear with both gasmask or open face along with many optional female heads.

The new male and gasmask head sprue has finished tooling as well and will be included in the Grognard restock coming later this month/early September depending on where you are in the world.

We will continue to show off parts from this set as we get closer to release."
