I predict that it is actually GW that will cause the price to go up, but if this is detailed in line with an RG or HG Gunpla, then it should be between 20-30. Because of GW I would say prob more like 35-40. Could be well off, we'll see - It's not a model kit, so you're looking at the wrong price comparisons. It's more likely going to be priced like their Figuarts lines, so more like $60-100 USD depending on size(not just height but mass), accessories, whether it includes a stand, and so on. Most likely, it'll be in the $70-90 range like their Sentai/Kamen Rider figuarts. Yikes... I haven't bought an action fig in years (whenever the Two Towers lotr movie came out) but I was thinking it would be along the lines of the price of various premium McFarlane figs. If it is that much more, I'll pass. To be fair, Figuarts are much better quality and infinitely more posable than McFarlane stuff which only looks good in certain poses or lacks the joints to actually hold realistic poses(looking at you, McFarlane Halo figures). In addition, they include way more accessories such as 6-10 extra hands(many of which are unique to certain characters for trademark poses), extra head/faces for various expressions, as well as pretty much any item you could think of associated with said character. For example, Tyrannoranger and Dragonranger from Zyuranger(the basis of the original Power Rangers) included a set of alternate neck and belt pieces to replicate their "Powerful Rangers" appearance in a single episode of Akibaranger.

I have a mighty need for the large Bandai figure, their kits are very good. I have one of their Stormtrooper kits and they are well made.
I suspect my Wife will one the chibi minis. I'll probably buy the original Rogue Trader style Space Marine for myself too.

Tau are definitely going to be a Bandai kit at some point. Outside of more marines though, would they do Inquisitorial agents or more lithe guys like Eldar Striking Scorpions?

This was posted on 4chan. I don't know where they got it from. I would assume the Japanese trade show that was mentioned in the press piece.

I am honestly surprised that we haven't had a tabletop Gundam rules set, with add ons for Giant monsters, and Godzilla.... But that's just me. Have zero interest in any GW's crossovers.
As long as I can remember, I've never seen a rules set to use the models in a tabletop game.... I hope I am wrong, and it exists somewhere.

Is that chibitempestus?
Also, I thought the knee pads were supposed to bend, protecting gaps in the armour. Might be too difficult to do in that scale though. Rifle is way too thick, tho...

I think I may have seen some of them at Barnes and Noble if they're the same brand as the Star Wars samurai figs they have there. Yeah, they're very nice but not $80+ nice IMO even with the accessories. YMMV of course and I'm sure some of them will sell to 40k fans. I'll just have to wait for them to hit ebay at less than half price as it looks like some are at least judging by Star Wars samurai prices on a quick google search.

The Samurai Star Wars figs are a different series and are a bit larger. At B&N, you're looking for the DBZ, Mario, and Sailor Moon figs in the squarish boxes with window fronts.
If we can get these through Bluefin and/or Bandai America, that'll probably bring down the price to closer to the $35-60 range.

Well, that display proves that the SD figures are indeed Gashapon. Interesting.
I think it's a pretty safe bet that the Marine will be joining the FiguARTS series. Unfortunately, that means you'll likely be paying Imperial Knight level prices. Don't expect to pay under $70 USD for him. Plan on him being over $100.

Upper half of the actioin figure looks good, but so much wrong with the bottom half. Weird small groin, knee articulation, feet are oversized...hope it's just a prototype cause it needs one or two revisions.

It's what happens when you take a design that was never designed with functionality in mind (marine armor) and try to make it functional, even if only on action model scale.

Heh, its like a Super Dungeon Explore 40k version.
The action figure is cool, but I still think its going to be crazy expensive, especially as its pretty large.
