They were never in stock online. That listing is new as of yesterday and has been listed as Out of Stock since put up.

Currently not available online but should be at your local store

And you can check availability...as soon as you posted that listing, nowhere for 100 miles of me has or had them.

The listing is new. It's not a "preorderable" item. That's all.

Darnit, I don't have a B&N nearby, was hoping I would have been able to order a couple.

It never ends well

You missed the most interesting part! Posted by Adrian Gideon (i.e., Ray Arrastia, the BattleTech Line Developer):

Quick bit of info, this is NOT exclusive. You should be able to get these from your FLGS soon. Will have a release date real soon.

These contain all the non-exclusive miniatures from the KS. All the minis from the Force Packs.

Spoiler:

In 2021, Catalyst ran production and marketing tests of premium BattleMech figures, producing the Tukayyid variants of the Black Knight and the Stormcrow. Only a few hundred of these were ever offered for sale.

Now, thanks to our friends at Monster Fight Club, we are taking this to the next level.

Available now is the Wolfhound IIC. A Clan-rebuild of Phelan Kell’s original Grinner, this fast, aggressive design comes with three different pairs of legs and four arms, allowing fans to assemble it in a variety of poses. The ultimate in battlefield customization! Also, with 4x initial availability, improved efficiency brings the price down $10 to an amazing $14.99.

Due to fan enthusiasm for this design, we will limit sales during the first week to two per person. However, we guarantee future print runs will be made available as we continue to optimize the premium line to your expectations.

Probably stupid question, but do you need the Battletech Manual book these days if you get Total Warfare? Or is there benefit in having both?

Wonder if the quality of the last batch of the CJ "premiums" was what caused the break? They had some pretty egregious mold lines for a $25 mini.

Regardless, MFC seems like a good partner - they've dropped the price $10 (and at $15 apiece it went from "I might get one", to "I'll probably get four), and I've seen their Cyberpunk minis in the raw at the LGS, and the quality was good. Hoping this is a long and fruitful partnership for both companies.

Quoting myself from the other B'Tech thread:

Update: Apparently someone asked about the premium mechs during the recent "Hour of the Wolf AMA" and the reply was that their moulds are wearing out much quicker than expected, so it might be that Creative Juggernaut simply can't keep up production.

What's interesting is that Creative Juggernaut was pushing US production, but Monster Fight Club is Chinese.

The BattleMech Manual has tons of rules from the other big books, but only rules that are for 'Mechs. Total Warfare is the rulebook you want if you want to play lots of unit types. BattleMech Manual is just for 'Mechs, and contains loads of Tac Ops stuff, including most of the optional rules that most people use anyway.

This. I used to work for them, if the online warehouse has no stock when a non-preorder goes up, it will say "Not currently available". You didn't miss out, they just didn't have stock but corporate B&N told them to put up the listing.

Uh, never? Because there is no such thing as ‘wave 2.5’. That was just a term used to identify some items that were added after the Kickstarter closed, and before shipping started. There were only two shipping ‘waves’. Especially in the US, if you don’t have it now, they’re hoping you forgot that they screwed up. There is nothing else coming.

yeah, was gonna say I don't remember anything about wave 2.5. I basically pledged for everything in the campaign, and I already received all of it, so I don't know what "wave 2.5" would even constitute?

My Crowd Ox confirmation email shows Battle of Tukayyid Physical as Wave 2.5. It's the only item I didn't receive. The shipping email had it listed as 0x BattleTech: Battle of Tukayyid.
I guess I'll send them an email...

Wave 2 is still shipping in some places - CGL sent out more stock to distributors the end of last year. ShipQuest is aiming to get the EU finished by the end of Feb (or so they said a few weeks ago), not sure about other ones.

Wave 2.5 is a CGL term for orders that were locked in after a certain date. In my case it was a crowdox issue when I added more items. And it should be close to completed I got my wave 2.5 a couple of weeks ago but you should have at least received a heads up notice by now I would think.

So hold off ordering anything on the CGL store right now guys, there's, presumably been a bug on their shippping and only the most expensive option is avaliable.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I'm in the same boat. I've emailed the distro guys as instructed, they said contact catalyst who in turn said contact the distro guys. Allegedly Catalyst has given the distro team a list of stuff still out standing which is supposed to confirm the list the distro team makes themselves. No one can give me an ETA for my book and I'm not that happy about it.

And, my book was delivered today. Took another round of back and forth with Catalyst and Quartermaster. Quartermaster said they needed permission from Catalyst to send out the book and had to contact Catalyst themselves (as did I). Not sure how accurate that was but end result is I now have my book.
