So i imagine most have seen these, and personally the style of them tickles my interest for an unaligned Daemon force.

However, what ain't as funny is the pricetag and the fact that these three are a bit singular, as in the only one that FW produced in said wierd hybrid style.

Which is odd, because I've always found plenty (for conversions, not necessarily in-fluff alternatives). When I used to play Daemons, most of my army was conversions for Warhammer Fantasy/AOS models.

Chaos Warhounds make good Deamon beasts
Beastmen Gors are great lessor daemons (just paint red for 'Letter, pail with dark purple fur for Slaanesh, etc)
Beastmen Minotaurs for Daemon Princes

Assembled just right (with maybe a bit of conversion) and painted up right, those could easily look like Ruinstorm Brutes

I like the ideas, altough i allready use beastmen for my R&H army as regular units the idea behind them is more to be summoned big mean things, for some unaligned /khorne melee.
That said, an armored bloodletter would really tickle my fancy.

Doesn't even need the hellblade or typical bloodletter head.

That thing would just need a weapon and i'd be about as nice as i want it. Altough at 11 CM it would probably be a bit too large.

Shame really that the style of the ruinstorm brutes is not really found elsewhere.
Altough that 11 cm high dude might work out fine after some kitbashing and modelling.

I've been eying the new Warcry Furies as unaligned daemons since they launched; clip off their wings and I think they'd make really nice bloodletters or unaligned lesser demons. They are actually pretty similar in style to the Ruinstorm ones...

Again, i like the cubes, (CUBES OF DOOM!) really probably the most tzeetchy army there is.

Shieldwolf mountain orcs would be a good fit if you're looking for some "savage primitive" looking guys. The heads are much more feral than GWs. Red skin, really play up the bone colors and I bet they'd look ace.
