Sorry if this is a repost, but here are the Adepticon exclusive models this year. We've seen the teased before, but never clearly:

I can live with the wonky proportions on the librarian, but his loincloth bugs me. It looks like folded paper, its all jagged. And why is it folding back in on itself on the right side?

We've seen Dacian Anvil on Warhammer Community and here on Dakka but the Librarian is new.

And a non-primaris one too. Interesting.

I wonder if Terminators in particular are going to be considered "Iconic" enough to keep around.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

I suspect that sooner or later we'll get an upsized Primaris terminator variant to replace the old ones. Probably a variant of Gravis armour with extra plating that upscales them to the size of Centurions or a small dreadnought.

At least when that happens they might wind up with functional anatomy. That Librarian is in all kinds of hurt - his shoulders don't actually connect to his torso.

Its a shame the Knight Questor is going to be an event exclusive as I quite like him. The Librarian on the other hand, is a model I'm fine with not getting

The Terminator was shown off as a preview at the last Adepticon. He wasn't painted at the time.

I really like that they've done a terminator & feel this actually is a positive and meaningful choice, it shows the mini marines still are thought of fondly.

Or they're just getting rid of a backlog of no-effort marine sculpts

The Librarian can at least go with my Captain and Chaplain from store exclusive stuff. The Stormcast looks like every other generic stormcast, that isnt their Fantasy Terminators, Fantasy Scouts or Fantasy Librarians, hero to me.

The sculpted base of the Terminator Librarian indicates he might have been sculpted with the Space Marine Heroes 2 models but for some reason didn't find its way into the series.

I mean details are fine and everything, but the Stormcast looks like any other Stormcast to me (not playing AoS) and the Librarian...uh...no thank you

Libby wise I'd have prefered a Primaris Libby with a staff so that Primaris Libbys ended up with weapon options.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Even playing AoS, Stormcast stuff tends to look like Stormcast if it isn't Sacrosanct Chamber.

It's been a big missed opportunity for expanding things a bit more or at least differentiating things better. The recent stuff(Sequitors and Evocators) have at least had the robes+mantles that distinguish them from everything else. Was a huuuuuuge miss on their part for the Vanguard Auxiliaries to make them be the 'huge and armored' guys that we got. Purportedly there are sketches floating around of an early concept with fewer plates and a lorica/scalemail styled look to most of their gear.

Oh...and bows instead of the naff 'hand crossbows'.

If you want new Death Guard, go buy the Japanese secret-box ones, they're better than the current models anyway.

The Terminator Librarian must be a left-over model from yet another re-release of Space Hulk.

I really like the chaos helmet on the base of the fantasy model, quite characterful... shame that the stormcast is as bland as ever.

Just like guilliman csm and that death rubric marine it was a spoiler of the new chaos warriors.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Yeah fair point. As a more old school fantasy fan the newly previewed Chaos Warriors speak to me like no other release for Age of Sigmar thus far.
Keeping that delicious old school aesthetic and updating only some of the details and poses is just perfect as far as I'm concerned, Imagine what they could do with Empire themed troops these days following the same guidelines? Ahh bliss!

Not to mention, after seeing the wonderful goblin wolf cavalry for Underworlds there's a faintest of faint hope for my dream of a 'accidentally sucked through a portal and we're in AoS' Brettonian group... Oooh, even a Green Knight in current plastic tech?! Make it happen Gdubs!

Wow that Terminator Librarian is absolutely awful. Ugly, with super weird proportions. After how good Space Hulk and SM Heroes Termies were this is weird.

Except it isn't, model was teased ages ago:

Spoiler:

Not that sQaTtEd crowd cared, when inanity and facts clash, too bad for facts, eh?

So, you mean, he is a perfectly falling in line, standard example of termie gorilla build?

Really, GW should have done primaris and their actual anatomy back in 2013 instead of a wave of terribad SM refreshes we got then...

Minor variations to generic models. Its exactly what these event limited edition models are supposed to be. -A fun souvenir for someone at the event.

About 5 min of coversion to stock models makes a more uniqe hq if thats what you want, so nothing to get worked up about.

Yep, because a pile of these from SM Heroes and FW line doesn't count?

The Terminators from SM Hero 2 box and exclusive SM Terminator HQs (this being fifth TDA character model since primaris dropped if we count bonus SMH2 ones too) are just a cherry on the cake not the main dish, and it's sad one needs to point that out...

Glad I stopped getting 40K mini-marines...
