The Fabius Bile reveal has left me a little confused. I doubt they're going to be doing Chaos Space Marines again in Psychic Awakening, especially before other factions have had their first reveal. They're also not going to include a new faction in it. Could be Death Guard, but even then, Fabius Bile doesn't seem to fit in there in my mind. Guess we're going to find out soon.

Actually, Fabius Bile and the death guard could be together. Remember that Fabius Bile doesn't serve any particular legion, and will work with whoever pays for his services.

I don’t know why but Ghaz’s head just seems weirdly small compared to the rest of the model. I’d guess it may be the same size or small that the 2nd rendition model of him. Hmmmmm.

It's an artistic trick to make his body look bigger. GW have been employing it on and off since Brain Nelsons Archaon/Chaos Knights.

As cool as Fabius Bile is I can't help but think this is really early to preview him. Saga of the Beast is not out until the end of this month, then there's Engine War and then (presumably) the War of the Spider. It really feels like they could've waited until Adepticon at least.

It's not like zero models are being realesed between now (well PA6) and Fabius anyways, there's all the admech stuff for 40k and quite possibly something else as well from Adepticon

i'v given up reading the fluff for PA, is there a summary up to now as to what has happend? Assuming its oh this big thing happens but nothing actually happens... repeat.

GW either underestimates the potential sales of xens or wants to improve the general perception of it's sales figures by supplementing with something of a public favour faction (e.g. Power armor of any flavour)

overall though they could've waited after ghazz and consorts have had their moment in the sun.

That tells me that there is likely more than just Bile coming with War of the Spider and want to start building hype now, with more to show at Adepticon. A bit like showing off Makari before PA5 came out.

Without sounding too whiny, still salty that UM got new Calgar and Tigurius, BA got Mephiston, SW got Ragnar, new Abbaddon, new Ghaz, and now they're redoing Bile........but DA can't get a break. No new Azrael or Ezekiel and then their somewhat average super doctrine is nerfed within 1 month of release. Lol. If it wasn't for the DW and RW boons, that part of PA (from a DA perspective, not GK or TS) would be absolutely worthless.
Lazarus is OK for a generic DA model, but poor Azrael is just tiny. If they redo him eventually, you would be able to use old Azzy as his Watcher in the Dark!

What's strange is that Lazarus takes a lot from Azrael and seems like a very simple and bland copy paste of Azrael : he has a helm with wing but does not wear it, exactly like Azrael, and he is also wielding one of the heavenfall blade ... What's the point in creating such a character when Azrael already exist and needs a new miniature ? It's weird.

The grudging acceptance of primaris for the first time (via crossing of the Rubicon Primaris) into the Inner Circle is one thing but the creation of the Grand Master Funk Daddy of all the Unforgiven and all the onion peel layers of secrets that entails is another. I think Asmodai would have been a better choice for primarisizing instead personally as we haven't had one of those upgraded yet. I think they're trying to vary it up as to who is getting upgraded with other marine roles mixed inbetween captain equivalents. If you're just looking for a new bigger fig, Lazarus is already a great choice for an easy conversion if you have a spare combiplasma. I know that's not the exact same thing but it's close enough considering the design asthetics are so similar between the two.

Funnily enough, Ragnar actually beat a daemon primarch before (as did other SW, multiple times at that, not that people are aware of it because it wasn't written by Ward so you don't have petulant children endlessly complain about it, even though SW wolfluff is million times worse than anything he wrote, go figure). So, yeah, one big ork is peanuts in comparison

I don't think Bile will come with Chaos Primaris.
However, as he's Dr. Frankenstein and created his own Primaris before it was cool, I could see him with some new Possessed that can also be built as his upgraded marines. Throw in the Venomcrawler, Greater Possessed and Oblits and you have a full wave that could get rules for Daemonkin (or custom legion rules) and Bile in the PA.

I think a lot of the old lore is becoming sort of lost to the general conciousness of the community since it gets highlighted less and less with every passing edition.

That said, I've got an idea for a converted Mega Armour Warboss using an Ambot and the Mekboy Workshop (for the claw and the engine block) just because of how cool Grimskull looks as a Warboss.

I'm definitely enjoying it. If the writing quality were notably worse than what we had before I'd have more to criticize.
