The themes will all be updated shortly, and you have tons of time to manage your choices, the PM will be open for quite some time. You have locked in the maximum discount by backing, and people can still join in later I believe for a reduced discount.

Checkout will be an option after we import backer data -- and you can still add to the order and checkout AGAIN if we add something you want. You can do this any time until we close the PM to begin final production and shipping

If you've ever used the Reaper PM this will be a familiar experience -- they made the code available to us because it so perfectly fits our needs.

We can certainly look at adding them if there's enough interest. As they're designed to match the boards for Infinity we figured folks would only want beveled.

A message from Mr.Justin!

Hello everyone!

So, first thing is of course to apologize and acknowledge the radio silence of the past few weeks. I did my best to let everyone know what was going on but ultimately it has gone longer than intended between contacts… grinding away in the warehouse every day after being forced to sadly furlough my staff makes telling the days apart pretty tough! I am getting through the inbox as fast as I can but if it’s a choice right now between spending a day in the warehouse shipping and organizing or answering emails about shipping and organizing then it feels like the best thing to do is ship. I hope you all agree and again, thank you for understanding the unique times we are in.

So let me update everyone on the state of things here one item at a time, please note I have included info on the general Secret Weapon Miniatures operations both to give a big picture view for everyone -

#1 The HD Bases Kickstarter -
Work has proceeded apace despite our lack of update, but mostly on back end logistical items. We intend to ramp up content/product again towards the latter half of summer as we continue towards full production. In the meantime, just know you are not missing out on anything and you do not need to close out until late in the year. We also know many are waiting to see the Zombicide themes!

#2 - Secret Weapon Production status -
We are working in the warehouse every day clearing space for a social distanced 12ft apart set-up and to optimize workflow to speed up shipping. One result of the space clearing has been the flash sales you have been seeing! Getting things optimized is very important right now not only to facilitate meeting orders but also to protect immune-compromised family members. We are getting our first employee back into the warehouse shortly and are moving towards more casting, with me doing quite a bit of it (been a long time!). Which leads us to -

#3 - Order Fulfillment Status -
We are currently shipping orders in the #38800 and up area. Orders of stocked (already cast) items and non-resin are being prioritized to speed things up. Please bear with us as we are going as fast as we can in these sub-optimal conditions and badly understaffed. We are hyper grateful for the orders pouring in and for the patience we have been forced to ask from many of you. Above all, please know it is absolutely normal to want to know the status of your order, and that I absolutely understand projects may be getting held up waiting for supplies. I am not looking to make anyone feel bad for wanting to know where their order is, only want to provide a logical explanation for why it has been tough to respond in a timely manner.

So again, thank you everyone for your kind understanding, orders and more. It means a lot, as a small business, this has been a tough time I’m not going to lie. But that is not an excuse for the lack of contact towards some of you guys looking for updates or information, for that I am deeply sorry. I am working my butt off and pushing hard to get things back up to pre-Covid speed.

Very long time between updates for this project so I went to have a look on KS to see if there was any news, there is and its about what is expected. C&P here for people who might not be checking the comments section... this was posted 11 days ago.

Here is the information that I have right now.

Delivery time: We are not sure. We are still waiting on a supplier to get a timeline to us for when we will get the stock bases in our hands to be able to plan out delivery time. I am projecting no less than a 6 month delay.

Zombicide bases: We are working to see if we can find a method to overcome an issue with the art. I dont really have more here but will update as I get more information.

I am looking in to the pledge manager and what is missing there.

As to the state of Secret Weapon, we are carrying on. We are still running on a skelington crew but we are running.

I appreciate that this is all still somewhat vague and not really good new. That said it is what we have. I promise we want more concrete news to share more than anyone. Thanks for sticking with us!

Hey guys yeah sorry, I should have updated long ago. My bit on the project has been done for quite a while so forgive me -

Yes, Covid definitely complicated things immensely here, primarily on sourcing the base blanks etc, a lot changed and a lot of the supply chain is still striving to adjust, finding best solutions and locations. It is still moving forward though it is not ideal to wait like this but man, who could have predicted the situation. Throw on top all the other personal and regular business hurtles introduced and it is a slog. Everyone has challenges though so not minimizing that of course you are all owed updates.

Hang tight, they will still be awesome!

As far as I know it is still on, I know the molds for the new base sizes were stuck in a queue in a port and other things were cooking, just really slowly. I agree more updates need to be given though, I'll pass along a kick -

I would have loved to purchased a ton of these. But these delays are insane. And the lack of serious info made me back out. It stinks.

I understand... it has been an insane year for everyone but holy hell between brexit, corona shut downs, con shut-downs in particular and port delays it has been particularly harsh on smaller mini companies. Hard to ask for sympathy when many of us took our hits too though I understand, hopefully the next update is meaty!

Guess that it's a whirlwind combination of Covid, shipping delays, Chinese New Year(which shuts everything in China down for 3+ weeks), and who knows what else. Saw somewhere that there's currently a worldwide shortage of shipping containers, too.

I had had enough of the silence and stand-still and asked for a refund. Thing is, I was going to use various styles across several armies so was prepared to spend big.

I can be patient but the lack of any updates of substance were / are concerning and, moreso, disrespectful to the backers who funded the project and were enthusiastic about it.

I've received several other KSs that were impacted and delayed by Covid but still managed to advance and complete their projects AND communicate with their backers.

IF Secret Weapon has been so impacted to the point of a stand-still, then they must have a ton of time on their hands so, the least they could do, is spend a little of it being present and keeping backers informed. Communication is free and is a major part of project PR. Now they have soured their reputation and have annoyed backers who have lost faith and enthusiasm for them and their product.

From what I understand due to the restrictions put on them by california for working only Justin and Jessica have been working in the warehouse so he spends almost all his time casting resin and Jessica packages things up to ship. This past summer he was talking about having to re-learn to cast resin as he handen't done it in years due to him having been able to hire people to do that.

I think when you get into that state where you're focused on current orders and there's lots of issues over in china and things are moving slowly it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking people don't want updates of "not much have changed due to X and Y" every month when in fact that's exactly what you should be doing.
