Hammer and Bolter/Death's Hand - Warhammer Animation (Anime-ish?).
Seems a great way to get new blood into the hobby and is a way to spread the word of 40k. As an existing fan of anime and 40k, I'm not sure this will be a huge thing for me. I'd be very surprised if GW anime lived up to some of the better, or even more mediocre anime coming out of Japan so it's unlikely I get much out of it personally. A great move for the company, however, anything that brings in more fans is a great move.

An author who thinks descriptive prose - literally the defining characeristic of the form - is the most boring bit of writing. Crikey.

New email pic definitely has Scions of Flame in it for Warcry and what looks like a Marauder horseman?

I’ve never really been able to get into Anime, for frankly no discernible reason.

Perhaps 40k stories might help me ease into it, as I understand I’m missing out on quite a lot of solid entertainment.

I think it's a good direction to move in - 40k is big enough as a setting that there' definitely stories to tell in that style.

It's possible that the horseman is the mounted version of Eomer wielding an orcish spear or something. Wasn't there a bit in Return of the Kings where he does that against one of the Mumak?

Yep could be to hard to tell in silhouette it was the spear and background that had me thinking Chaos

Fabius, HH Lion, Pointy Elves, Warcry Warband, 40k anime and something else (Rohan, no doubt).

None of those things appear to be World Eaters or Emperor's Children.

A fair amount of us just waiting patiently for the game reveals I see.

The hints on the website are...interesting.
A big screen hero in plastic. Eisenhorn? Grimaldus? Whose been on the big screen or will be?

That Elf reveal was cheesy AF. Mrs commented on it, it was that bad.
