The king and his warrior retinue's hieroglyphic shapes are significantly larger than the human ones (as well as the barge pilot) they encounter.
Perhaps we'll see some larger humanoid models with this release?
Much like everyone else though, I want to see Pariahs and Destroyers redone.

Sounds like Necrons are getting the Ossiarch Bonereaper treatment.

If The Imperium’s first contact were with Severed Worlds, then the original background kicks in, with unbound, rogue C’Tan shards being mistaken for the whole of the thing.
Only the Eldar really know much about the Necrons, and given the fall, their version seems unreliable at best, even before you factor in deliberate lies and half truths to mess up their various competitors.
So both versions are true, depending on how you look at it.
Ok sure but we won't get new content where the Dark Angels take heavy clues from Amerindian tribes and we won't get new content where the Necrons are the tragic remains of an entire civilization that was tricked and doomed by space gods older than time! All the new content is going to account for the fact most of the necron nobility didn't lose neither their identity nor their free will.

I bet that video was going to be the final reveal at Adepticon, with the next big preview being the one we're getting May 23rd. It also seems like GW are pushing forward to get their release schedule back on track before the end of their fiscal year next month.
Yep, just had to read into the fluff presented so far in PA. Now if the other half can come true too....fully fleshed out Ynnari, but I won't hold my breath.

My prediction:
Necrons will get a new special HQ model bit like ghaz and the AOS skelington centre piece model.
This will create an opportunity for Space marines to get at least 3 kits... (Primaris bikes, land speeder and something else they don't really need and nobody has asked for)

Man I hope it's not a diorama mini... Which is mostly just an excuse for the arbitrary nature of 40K fluff, where things can be written in (and out) as often as they like.

The way I see it Diorama minis are a bit like giant minis - its become a thing GW is going to likely place into many armies. Just like terrain features.
Of course GW is never totally consistent with such things. Even in AoS there are several armies without endless spells and/or terrain features of their own; despite them majority having them. Similarly not every army has a giant model and some have much cheaper "big" models in tehir range than others (eg Flesheaters and Fyreslayers both have their bigger model within tehir getting started set).
Some armies might never see a diorama model - eg tyranids I could see it being hard to make one.

If you look at the teaser, he seems to be riding on top of a vehicle of some sort. At first glance I thought that it was just a ghost ark, but it doesn’t have the ribs. Perhaps it will be a bigger CCB with the king on top. The retinue have a lychguard looking axe, but no shield. I agree that it’s probaby one new melee unit, and the king.

Tyranids have the brain bugs or hive mind bug or whatever it is. Think starship troopers.
But that’s probably saved for 11th edition After the return to chaos in 10th edition :p

Models like that Sisters diorama, Szeras or that Bonereaper dude are a fairly recent development.
Nearly all current Tyranid kits are from the 2010-14 era where the most important design feature was cramming 2-3 codex entries into a single kit. By then FW had already firmly claimed the Tyranid centrepiece role with the Hierophant & Harridan. It didn't make much sense to reinvent the wheel at that time.

They've done new campaign book and codex update at the time for chaos and Tau. So old book + campaign book gives you (supposedly) the same rules as the new codex.
There's old concept art from the start that has something in between a monolith and a doomsday/ghost ark as a "Warbarque". They became the Monoliths in the end, but it's certainly a well they might dip back into (and one epic players have used for a superheavy).
also this much sillier one

The text accompanying the Ghost Ark image leads me to believe there's no deep meaning to it, no hidden clue :
And then, in his wisdom, he sailed into the lightless void.
I see it as just a prmitive's representation of a starship.

If they do redo destroyers, the main thing they could add to them would be alt weapon options.

When you say "... all the weapon options..." I presume you mean bits to make all three Destroyer types (Destroyers, Heavy Destroyers and Destroyer Lords)?
Personally I'd like to see an update of the Warriors, with Scarab Swarms that actually look like a swarm and where each scarab isn't the size of a small dog...

What do you mean by this? I was under the impression the Silent King was *already* around in Galaxy in the Lore. It seems the 5th edition Blood Angels Codex had a battle that involved him in 995.M41 and there's a short story of that that was released in 2014, so what does this seem like it will take away?

Eh, what else would you add though? They're too expensive to really sling Tesla effectively unless they make a whole new weapon. Plus they still haven't fixed our biggest Tesla weapon anyway.

Yup, if they ever get to destroyers I am positive they will add tesla canons and particle beamers or something new as an alternate gun option. It makes sense and as you said it gives folks that like me that own 12 regular and 9 heavy d's a reason to by yet even more of them. I mean, when has that mattered to GW? have you seen the weapon options available to Atlan Jackles for GSC? They are thematically awesome but 90% of them are totally worthless.

I hope that the Silent King is more a leader than a brawler.
Closer to the GMan than Mortarion/Magnus/Ghazzy.
I also hope that the Crons get a new dex where the King is a viable option, but not a crutch that you have to use.

DOh - yes my error. I always loved the sketch someone did with the tiny troops below it. obviously they could never make that to scale (like anything else in miniatures) but having something like that. imagine 2-2.5 ft tall, 3-3.5 ft long would be epic
