Order submitted. Payment authorised. Webpage returned to GW ... "Web site down for maintenance". Credit card was charged, order not confirmed, items were still in my cart (though by 10:13am had all sold out), so not sure if I've missed out - but definitely been charged !

Took me 15 minutes but I managed to do it. Getting the card through was a nightmare with all the crashes. (All operations over 100€ usually require a code sent by SMS)

And yes, confirmation email took more than comfortable time to arrive

For all the Euro lads, the German GW still got English and German versions as of now.

Based on...what? Gw has been consistent saying "available while stock last". You think thev put only partial stock first and later add more? Why?


This was always knewn to be limited in quantities. 20 minutes or so for uk selling out was surprisingly slow

Alchemist Workshop got their site hacked as the pre-orders went live, which sucks. Got it from GW.

Just wouldn’t be surprised if they limited order numbers for the initial rush, and have reserves to go up later.

I world say their FOMO campaign worked quite well.

The spanish GW site has still both spanish and english Indomitus. I waited 5 minutes for some UK sites but after that I ordered it from a spanish one that went out of pre-orders at 20 so I'm sorted out. Lets wait and see.

Don't panic guys. It looks like GW is not gonna make just one wave of this.

I mean, they limited how many one person could buy, and then subsequently halved that number to avoid scalping. What more do you want? They sold out, which is a shame for those who didn't get one, sure, but I don't think they did it out of malice. It's nice that a company is doing well in these awful times for once in my opinion.

Don't forget GW will have held stock for physical release in their shops as well so there might still be some hope there if you pester your local manager

Aye but that sounds like stores got X number of boxes delivered in 2 waves. Rather than two waves of separate orders. So it might be that even if you order today you couldbe in wave 2. That is unless Wayland has firm numbers on their allocation for the second wave.

Yeah, bought £100 of vouchers during lockdown so got an extra tenners worth.

I rang the Dublin GW store and they were able to reserve a copy for me after it had sold out online. Just have to hope we don’t get locked down for months again!

Sigh. Was literally waiting by my laptop from 9am and saw the page refresh at 10 to make it available. Ended up with 2 copies in my basket due to the site running so slowly, and by the time I'd corrected it, it was gone.

Hopefully have got one through Element Games, but that seemed to drop off being available as my payment went through. No order confirmation email yet.

I wouldn't mind so much if not for the reassurances about 'we've made the most ever, and while it will be limited it will be around for a while'. Oh, and that my mate, who only knew when the pre-order opened because I told him, managed to get his...

This certainly was worse than the Shadow War Armageddon launch, which was as bad as I've ever seen.

Element Games pulled a fast one on a very loyal postage customer, only putting up the launch day box for local collection. They've lost my custom for good.

GW charged my card, but didn't take the order. Now I have to sweat it out to see if they will correct it (and have stock to do so!) once their settlement processes run (probably overnight).

At least in Germany the Mail Order offered me to redirect my order (which should arrive at the store) to my home address at no additional cost. Mail Order customer support are the same guys and girls for all of Europe, so I would be confident that they would offer that service in Dublin as well, if push comes to shove.

Either the interest here in the box is smaller or we got more stock, but 2 out of 3 sites (the 3rd being down constantly) still show that you can pre-order.
