Remember the Frostgrave Cultists sprue has zombie bits on it. Just use those on the regular SG plastics. Not a lot of variety, but it still gives you some options.

Had to google what is a Volus but yeah, this mini could pretend to be one. BTW it is my favourite from the metal zombies shown.

There is a living version of the same model in one of the new metal packs which will be a little easier to convert.

OK, MiniaturicuM has the EU covered now:

I went for one of everything. Will try to put some spare Mantic space zombie heads and arms on some spare Stargrave troopers to bulk out the undead.

Really looking forward to all this solo/coop stuff. This could be even better than Spacerangers of Shadow Deepspace.

Nice.... my only problem would be that I just got the Starrave Nickstarter pack from a store, with all the freebie metals... and now I vividly remember why I don't buy metals anymore

That said, if the company is watching, I'd be all for joining a Patreon with 3d files of these sort of sculpts (I'm already a patron of Anvil Digital Forge, which is similar in a way).

Just saying.

You're the second person to say that in this thread.
It would only matter if you're going to do lots of conversions.
They look like 1 piece models, that will maybe need some flash removing at most and gluing to a base. So much easier than a GW 15 piece humanoid model where every tiny piece needs mould line removing and carefully gluing.

I get the hatred for metal if it's like an old dragon/demon model with overly heavy wings or similar that need pinning etc, but not single piece humanoid size models.

My Painting Blog: http://gimgamgoo.com/
Currently most played: Silent Death, Xenos Rampant, Mars Code Aurora and Battletech.
I tried dabbling with 40k9/10 again and tried AoS3 - disliked both, but I'm enjoying HH2 and trying Battletech Classic and AS out

Well they're metal, so they're gonna chip and be 100% monopose. I don't really like that

Each can have their own opinion. Mine is that flash and mould removal is so much less convenient than plastic that it makes cleaning the models actively unfun.

And well, after painting they chip much, much, muuuuuuch easier.

Of course, the fact that I own multiple 3d printers also makes me lean toward not metal, given how much easier to clean is resin and little it chips

I’ve seen some nice space zombies out there, and looking forward to the expansion. However, I have Zombiecide Invader, so definitely don’t need any more
