The Crusade book is fine, it's the campaign one that is the issue if it contains rules for generalist matched play (and not only campaign narrative games).

The problem isn't a 40k reveal, it's what they reveal. 4 books. Wow.

No one said it! (Well, except me, I guess! )

But from my PoV 40k traditionally gets the lion's share of attention, even over the last few years which have been getting 'better' about giving a presence to the fantasy side of things. For me it's nice for the other games - both other facets of the 40k universe aside from the main game, and of course fantasy (which is really where my attention lay now-a-days. Though a new guard army would get my attention!)

And the Slaaneshi mortals are half awesome, and half 3rd Ed Dark Eldar bad.

I'd prefer a different head (or option) for Sgvald, doesn't seem likely with that mane though. Slaanesh mortals look slightly meh.

Hahahaha, in name only. They are essentially just ported out of a Conan movie. These are real, honest, Chaos Warriors.

Them being from a Conan movie is the best part! The new guys look great, but I'd take a new version or expansion to them as a new marauder kit in an instant.

Agreed 100%. The ones with the whips look terrible. The helmeted sword/shield ones look fantastic.

Finally Slaanesh infantry that didn't look gross.

He burnt a city once because he didn't like the wine. But in his stand alone novel, he's actually a stand up gent. Also, his sword is made from a shard of Slaanesh's own. And all his warriors have mirror shields so he can look at himself

I never liked Sigvald but his new miniature is just such a ... perfect. Is a really magnificent miniature. Everything is perfect. The pose, the face, the armor, even the horns.

Painbringers look great Twin Souls not so much needs better heads.

The Slaanesh stuff is absolutely Top Notch. They nailed the aesthetic.

Look closely at his base. He's still "floating" a few inches off the ground. Love it.

The rest of the hedonites? Eh. Painbringers? Love em. The other ones? I get it. The whole "Twisted Alliance" model led to a rise of "daemon/mortal" pairing for Slaanesh (which to be fair, that calvary unit already was doing). But the heads need to be swapped out.

Twin-Soul heads are awful. Give 'em the other heads.

Main those painbringers are great.......those Twinsoul heads are sooooo bad though.

I was hoping for mortals like the "twins" from underworlds. But I'm guessing these aren't the only two units to be released, hopefully...

Love everything about all of these Slaanesh kits other than those possessed heads. Those look atrocious.
