I love how normal "custom" facemasks run in the $7-$15 range...but GW's are $22.50

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Kinda tempted by the Chaos one myself, and I do need a jacket.

Would get the Imperium one, but constant niggling worry someone might misconstrue the Aquila, and think I’m wearing a similar but entirely different..erm...thing.

I’m sure people know what I’m getting at, and why I’m not elaborating.

But the jackets remain cool.

weren't the british party of a certain branch of totalitarianism wearer of lightning badges? So why should the double headed Eagle be an issue, especially because a lot of countries use thedouble headed eagle as national symbol or local town symbols?

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

And don’t forget Halfmoon Bay. Their Mystery Boxes (£25 for £50+ worth of gubbins) are currently sold out, but hopefully they’ll restock before Christmas.

I’ve had....erm....four, so far, and have wound up with a decent collection of really quite nice bits and bobs. Some stuff peeps might consider more tat than collectible - but at least it’s quality tat!

If you’ve a Hobby butterfly friend or sibling you buy Chrimbo Pressies for, those Mystery Boxes might just suit.

Yes. But still not something I could really be bothered to explain if someone entirely misconstrued.

some of the prints an apparel is nice, but there is exactly zero chance someone won't confuse you for an extremist with this design:

Maybe on the back they could put a little thing that says "don't worry it's warhammer not nazi stuff" and a big thumbs up

Even though I'd know exactly what that was about I wouldn't go near someone wearing that hat lmao.

Oath Duty Victory.

In any other time would be...okay to be seen in public. Along the lines of an angsty metal or goth band.

In these trying times I'm not sure that Olive drab and dark caps with this motto on are hitting the nerd mark. The DW sweatshirt is okay.

The Polo shirts with faction icons are okay but I could imagine wearing one in a GW store and having parents coming over and asking what little timmy needs for his 'army mans'. Very corporate but that means smart and if they are a good enough quality I might be tempted.

The Nurgle church hoodie is good.

The problem with the T-Shirts is that they're far too gaudy and busy.

You can't just get an Inquisition shirt with the =][= on it. It hast to have other things. Can't get a Tyranid one with just the 'Nid symbol.

I want this thing.

The White Dwarf cover shirts might be interesting, though it doesn't seem they are on sale yet?

The annoying thing is the shirts with art on would likely be cheaper than if GW were selling an art print/poster with the same art on them

Totally, honestly if they just had a few subtle things, a dark red shirt with the mechanicus cog on or something, some eldar shirts with the individual craftworld runes on, they'd be really cool.

Good thing the R is there, because that is a very unfortunate way to stylize an F.

Honestly, I have a feeling this one is the most "safe" to wear because there's plenty of metal bands that use similar enough fonts that the average person will just assume you're a metalhead and it's some obscure "not Slayer" metal band.

There’s a difference between us knowing what it represents. It’s quite another to recognise that out there, somewhere, there’s someone who won’t get it. And a further another to realise I probably don’t really have the energy to deal with such and set them straight.
