On the Squat Trike, and indeed the apparent (and previously rumoured) return of the bearded ones.

It’s true the disc plate thing matches those seen on Primaris equipment.

But, we also know the Squat Worlds were overrun by Orks. Provided that continues to be the background? It would make sense that any remaining forces have been taken in by The Imperium, and possibly assisted to get themselves back in fighting shape.

Squat Extinction Event hasn't really been detailed at all, so they'll probably handwave/retcon it away as them having had enclaves all over the place, or that they went into super-isolation mode but the damage to the Homeworlds wasn't nearly as total as ignorant Imperials believed.

Obvious thing would be the squats we've been seeing are chaos squats, which is how they survived the hive fleet.

But it could be a warpsmith.

That plate also is similar to some of the Kharadron design elements..
But yes it hasn't been set out how the Squats disappeared or what form their return might take.. might not be that friendly to the imperium due to that snippet from PA which has them attacking an Ad Mech vessel? They might do similar to the KO- seeming to disappear but just relocated [either fleet based or hidden underground/lost and spat out by the warp].

I don't usually leave this kind of comment in the rumor engine thread, but that looks cool and I hope it comes attached to something interesting.

No speculation on what it might be.

Wow. Those mechandrites and that little metal reinforcing rod on top of the hand/digit in bottom left of pic remind me of admech so at first I thought Dark Mechanicus. Whether it is or Chaos Dwarves I get the feeling something special is coming. There are rumours Chaos gets a big revamp/addition next year, will be interesting when this rumour pic drops.

True, it is only 7 odd years old at this point. I am just not sure how well it scales with the newer, bigger chaos marines etc.
